Mrs.Manda Seiber Rites Held
Mrs.Manda Seiber,86,died Thursday.Aug 15 at the home of her son Crosley Seiber,Oliver Springs.
She was the wife of the late Mike Seiber and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church at Devonia.
Surviving are Crosley of Oliver Springs and Harley of Devonia.she is also survived by a brother,William Bray
of Knoxville, 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Saturday at 2p.m. at
Seiber Cemetery,Devonia.The Rev.Dana Ward and the Rev.Bob Lively officiated.

Stainville- Funeral services for the Rev.Isaac Phillips,who died Wednesday,were held at Grave Hill Church
Friday.The Revs.Lee Ward,T.N.Phillips and John B.Phillips officiated.Mr.Phillips was a Baptist Minister for
over 40 years.He is survived by three sons,Richard of Stainsville,Tom of Shea,Eli of Briceville, three daughters,
Mrs.William Carroll and Louise Dougherty of Stainville,Mrs.Luther Jones of Clinton,one brother,William Phillips
of Stainville.

Mrs.Sarah Phillips
Services were conducted Sunday morning at New Pilot Baptist Church for Mrs.Sarah Phillips,66,who died Thursday.
April 24,at her home in Stainville.Officiating ministers were the Rev.Lee Phillips and Rev.Edwin Phillips.
A member of New Pilot Baptist Church,she is survived by three sons,Guy and Condy,both of Charlie Branch,
and Richard of Stainville,five sisters,Mrs.Nancy Jane Wilson of Lake City,Mrs.Susie Seiber of Lafollette,
Martha Ann Phillips and Ellen Phillips of Stainville,three brother,Golda Phillips of Stainville, Fletcher Phillips of
Charlie Branch, Dewey Phillips of Rosedale,nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Burial was in Phillips Cemetery with Cox of Lake City in charge.

The Rev.Moss Pyles,a member of the Anderson County Association and the Red Hill Baptist Church died Friday
April 25 in a Knoxville hospital.He was 74 years old.He is survived by one daughter,Mrs.L.D. Elliott, three granddaughters,
Mrs.R.O. McPherson and Virginia Elliott,both of Knoxville,and Mrs.Thomas Johnson of Winston-Salem,N.C. one brother,
M.H. Pyles.The Rev.Elmer Bailey officiated at a private funeral Sunday afternoon.Burial was in Lynnhurst Cemetery with
Martin's of Clinton in charge.
