Martha Ann Hatmaker
Mrs.Martha Ann Hatmaker,83,formerly a resident of the now flooded by the waters of Norris Dam,
died at her home in Coal Creek,Oct 31,after a long illness.Funeral services were held Wednesday
at Longfield Baptist Church with the Rev.Ben Peoples officiating and Weaver Funeral Home in charge.
Burial was in Murville cemetery.Mr.Hatmaker is survived by four sons,Silas of Concord, Henry of Akron,O.,
Kelly of Madisonville,and John of Knoxville,four daughters,Mrs.Mary Jane Melton,Mrs.Etta Dagley of Lafollette,
Mrs.Viola Boggs of Coal Creek and Mrs.Bertha Seales of Coal Creek,56 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Mrs.Cooper dies Thursday Sunday for Mrs.Alice Webb Cooper,87,of 711 Sharp St. Clinton,who died
Thursday night in St.Mary's Hospital.She had been a resident of Anderson County most of her life.
she is survived by five sons,Clarence,Carl, Vernon,and Ulysses all of Clinton and Henry Beech of Lake City,
three daughters,Mrs.Gertrude McGhee, Mrs.Edna Long both of Clinton,and Mrs.Mabel Burchfield of Maryville.
a sister,Mrs.Ethel Poston of Caryville,17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The services were held in the Holley Funeral Home Chapel.With the Rev.Delbert Payne officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.

Brother Of Clinton Man Dies Wednesday
George Molden Smith,brother of Rev.H.L. Smith of Clinton died Wednesday night at his home on Jacksboro Rt.2.
of a heart attack.Mr.Smith ,he is survived by his wife, Mrs.Duksey Weaver Smith,a daughter, Mrs.Edith Mae Smith
of Jacksboro,and three sons,Walter of Oak Ridge,Carl of Knoxville,and James of Strawberry Plains.He is survived by
another brother,Emmett Smith of Lafollette,four sisters, Mrs.Bernetta Prater of Oliver Springs,Mrs.Lillie Cooper of
Lafollette,Mrs.Lassie Sharp and Mrs.Mossie Hatmaker of Jacksboro,five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Cumberland View Baptist Church with the Rev.Walter Richardson officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Infant Seiber
The infant son of Mr.and Mrs.Elmer Seiber died early Thursday morning at the home in Lake City.
He is survived by his sister,Barbara Seiber.Funeral services were held Friday at the home with burial
in Circle cemetery.Martin Funeral Home in charge.
