Mrs.Nancy Hatmaker, 79,died Tuesday at the of her daughter,Mrs.John Gibbs,in the Marlow
Community.She was a member of of Poplar Creek Baptist Church and in addition to her daughter
is survived by four sons,14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren,two sisters, Mrs.Martha Dexter
of Oneida,and Mrs.Sadie Summers of Asheville.
Funeral servives were held at 10a.m. Wednesday at Poplar Creek church with burial in the church cemetery.
The Rev.Sam Jones officiated and Booth Funeral Home was in charge.

Infant Moore
Lizzie May Moore,infant daughters of Mr.and Mrs.Edd Moore of Oliver Springs RFD 1,
died at their home last Saturday.six brothers survives,John,Joe,Billy,Raymond, Francis and
Robert Howard,Burial was in Dyllis cemetery Sunday afternoon with Martin Funeral Home in charge.

Infant Marlow

Ethel Marlow,infant daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Starl Marlow of Beech Grove,died Tuesday morning.
Services were that afternoon with Martin in charge.Burial was in Swag Church cemetery.

Thomas Shoopman

Thomas Shoopman 51,miner of Oliver Springs,died suddenly of heart trouble at his home last Wednesday.
He is survived by his wife,and a son,Randal,Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Oliver Springs
Presbyterian church with the Rev.Harvey Tallent,the Rev.Elmer Cox and the Rev.Eli Brown officiating.
Burial was in Oliver Springs cemetery with Martin in charge.
