Ben Phillips
Ben Phillips, 69 died at his home Caryville Rt.1,Thursday Feb.16.
Surviving are the wife,Mrs, Sallie Bell Phillips, seven sons, Marshall,
Isaac, and Oscar of Ohio, Fred of New Jersey, Columbus, Harold and
Don all of Caryville Rt.1. Four daughters, Mrs. Annie Phillips of Stainville,
Mrs. Elle Carroll, Mrs.Mary Lowe both of Caryville Rt.1,Mrs. Aslee Ward
of Ohio.32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday at 1p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church,
with the Rev. Lee Phillips officiating.Burial was in the church cemetery.
Martin of Lake City was in charge.

Mary Nell Walker
Mrs. Mary Nelle Braden Walker, 39,of East Peoria,Ill, formerly of Clinton Rt.5.
died Feb 19 in Peoria after a short illness.She is survived by her husband,
Frank E. Walker, one daughter, Mrs. Lindie Duncan,Oliver Springs, one granddaughter,
Terry Duncan, mother, Mrs. Maggie Braden, Clinton Rt.5, two sisters, Mrs. Dolly McDonald
East Peoria, and Mrs. Beulah Cross,Chicago,Ill, and a brother,Houston Braden, Clinton Rt.5.
Services were held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Dutch Valley Baptist Church,Clinton Rt.5.
with the Rev. Milford Ely and the Rev.Ellis Patterson officiating.Burial was to be in Sulphur
Springs Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Emma Dew
Mrs. Emma Dew,83, died at her home on Andersonville Rt.1 Thursday,Feb 16 at 2:30 p.m
She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church for over 60 years. Survivors are two daughters,
Mrs.Edd Mckamey and Mrs.Luther Carden of Pennsylvanis, five sons, John of Sac City, Iowa.
James of Murfreesboro, Sam and Charlie of Andersonville, and Wiley Dew of Heiskell.
32 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Services were held last Sunday at 2:30 p.m
at Red Hill Baptist Church with the Rev.George Williams and the Rev.Otis Webber
officiating.Burial was in Andersonville Cemetery with Martin's of Clinton in charge.

Mrs. Sue Easterly
Mrs. Sue Easterly,79,mother of Mrs.Milton Dotson of Clinton died
Saturday at her home in Greenville.Funeral services and burial were
held Tuesday at the River Hill United Baethren Church,Greenville.
Survivors,besides,Mrs.Dotson.are six sons,Elbert,Joe, and Lee
of Greenville, Pern of Bay City,Mich. William of Strafford,Mo.
and Philip of Greenville,and two sisters,Mrs.Maude Wells of Greenville,
and Mrs.Willie Brown of Los Angeles,Calif.
