Byrd Seiber, 59, died at his home Thursday after a short illness.He is survived by six children,
five sons, Luke, Albert,William, Joe and Eldridge, one daughter, Mrs.Lula Wagner, all of
Laurel Grove.Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday at Laurel Grove Baptist Church.
The Rev.Odas Harness and the Rev.Lee Phillips officiated.Burial was in the Webb cemetery.
Martin Funeral Home was in charge.

Jess Wilson
Jess Wilson, 80,father of Rev.Luther Wilson died at his home on Clinton
RFD 2, December 29 after a illness of 18 years.A member of the Baptist
Church, funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Blowing Springs
Church with burial in church cemetery.The Rev. Ernest Crawford officiated
and Holley undertaking company was in charge of arrangement.
Seven sons,J.B., E.L., Mike , George ,Robert, Earl and Willie and five
daughters,Mrs. Matelda Abling, Mrs. Bessue Bell,Mrs. Manda Gladfeler,
Misses.Verla and Dela Wilson survive as does one brother,Jim of Caryville.

Mrs. Elizabeth Massengill
Mrs.Elizabeth Massengill, 92, died at 6:25 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the
home of her grandson, Carl Prince in Coal Creek.Mrs. Massengill is surived by four daughters,
Mrs. W.M. Goans, Mrs.T.R. Prince, Mrs. O.M. Sharp, and Mrs. C.C. Wilson one son,
J.J. Massengill,serveral grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.She was a member of
Longfield Baptist church.

Mrs. L. Keathley
Mrs. L. Keathley died at her home in Marlow Sunday December 22,1935 after a short illness
of pneumonia.She was 62 years of age.Mrs. Keathley was born and reared in this community
and has been a merchant here for more than 35 years. Fureal services were conducted Tuesday
December 24,at 10:30 o'clock at Marlow Baptist Church.The Rev. Billy Hightower officiated.
Surviving are two sisters,Mrs. John Kennedy of Clinton,and Mrs. Sarah Taylor of Knoxville,
and two brothers,W.M. Taylor of Knoxville,and Sam Taylor of Jacksboro.

Infant Vowell
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Vowell died Demember 24 at Briceville.
The body was brought to Alder Springs to the home of the grand mother
Mrs. Leon Chapman.Funeral services were held at Sulphur Springs Wednesday.
The Rev.J.F. Mcgill officiated.Burial was in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
