Ruth Chapman, 83, of Jacksboro died October 29th, 2002 at St. Mary's Medical
Center of Campbell County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Goldie Chapman; son, Clyde
Chapman; daughter, Geraldine Tatum; parents, George and Florence Miller
Bruce; brothers, Otho and Homer Bruce and sister, Eunice Chapman.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by sons, Stephen M., Earl D. and Leslie Chapman all
of Jacksboro; daughters, Judy Nelson, Jacksboro, Delona Sweeny, LaFollette,
Brenda Prewitt, Speedwell; 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren;
sister, Corinna McFarland, LaFollette.
Funeral services were November 1st in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral
Home with the Reverends Jimmy Griffith and Bill Floyd officiating.
Interment was in Stokes Cemetery.
Carol Sue Debord, 63, of LaFollette died November 3rd, 2002, at the
University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glad and Mae Newport Woodward;
sister, Betty Jane Dudas.
Mrs. Debord is survived by her husband, Wayne Debord, LaFollette; son, Beau
Debord, Cookeville; daughters, Kim Potter, Caryville and Robin Allen, Texas;
five grandchildren.
Funeral services were November 5th at the High Knob Baptist Church with
Reverends Kyle Keeton and Paul Hembree officiating.
Interment was in Newport Cemetery, Huntsville, Tennessee.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Grace R. Goins, 90, of LaFollette died October 29th, 2002 at the St. Mary's
Health and Rehabilitation Center of Campbell County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Goins; daughter, Jewell
Kesterson and grandson, Jimmy Kesterson.
Mrs. Goins is survived by her daughter Jean Childs, LaFollettte; sons,
Ronnie Goins, Lafollette, Benny Goins, Georgia; 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services were October 31st at the Midway Baptist church with the
Reverends H. Lee Ray, Leonard Dabney and Johnny Dabney officiating.
Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Augusta M. Ey, 81, of Caryville died November 1st, 2002 at St. Mary's
Medical Center of Campbell County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Ey; daughter, Nadine Ey;
great grandson, David Dockery, Jr.; parents, Welby and Lucy Willey; sisters,
Lillian Dunphy, Virginia Willey; brother Morris Willey.
Mrs. Ey is survived by her daughters, Linda Johnson, Lake City, Sharon
Reynolds, Caryville; sons, William Ey and Wilmer Ey, Jr., both of Maryland;
11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolina, Joyce, and
Emily; brothers, Earl and Nick Willey.
Funeral services were November 5th at the Duda- Ruck Funeral Home in
Maryland.
Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery.
Holley- Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Linda Hawkins Ford, 58, of LaFollette died November 3rd, 2002 at St. Mary's
Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jay L. and Margaret Cumbow Hawkins
and brother, Joe Hawkins.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband, Gleece Ford, LaFollette; sons, Douglas
Ford, Knoxville, Mark Ford, Chattanooga.
Funeral services were November 4th at the Middlesboro Highway Church of God
with Reverends Timothy Gann and Mitchell Wilson officiating.
Interment was in Pond Cemetery.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
