Mildred Anderson,82, of Williamsburg, Kentucky died October 7th, 2002 at the
Jellico Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Florence Lawson Tidwell;
sister, Martha Tidwell.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Croley Anderson of
Willaimsburg,Ky; sisters, Clara Tramell, Fairview,Ky, Nannie Hyslope,
Ekron,Ky, Stella Reynolds, High Cliff, Tn.
Funeral services were October 8th at the Cox and Son Chapel with Reverend
Horace Partin and Reverend Leonard Siler officiating.
Interment was in the Lot Cemetery.


Sarah Elizabeth Anderson,80, of Jellico, Kentucky died September 29th, 2002
at the Jellico Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Anderson; parents, William
and Jennie Hamil; brothers, Gaylor Hamil, George Hamil and Robert Hamil;
sisters, Sommer wilhoit and Nell Baird.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Billy Robert Anderson, Baltimore,
Md., Jennie Ruth Crawley, Jellico and Rebecca Vanderpool, Williamsburg, Ky.
Five grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette
Douglas, Baltimore, Md..
Funeral services were October 2nd at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend
Leonard Siler officiating.
Interment was in Vermillion Cemetery.


Nellie R. Bailey, 91, of Williamsburg, Kentucky died October 1st, 2002 at
Nothhaven Healthcare Center in Knoxville, Tn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Dora Hudson Rogers;
husband, Hubert Bailey.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her son, Bobby J. Bailey, Knoxville; two
grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Ed Rogers, Columbus,
OH, Roy B. Rogers, Flat Rock, MI; sister, Aileen Dalton, Toledo, OH.
Funeral services were October 3rd at the Cox and Son Chapel with the
Reverend Horace Partin officiating.
Interment was at Baker's Forge Cemetery.



Nancy Baird Chitwood, 91, of Morristown, died October 4th, 2002 at Heritage
Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Celelia Cox Baird. Also,
by her husband, Roe Chitwood.
Mrs. Chitwood is survived by her daughters Joyce Welch, Morristown and Patty
Robbins, Sumter, SC; 10 grandchildren and 15 great granchildren.
Funeral services were October 7th at the Cox and Son Chapel with Reverend
Charles Smith officiating.
Internment was in Jellico Cemetery.


Slyvia Shoun Hagedorn, 79, of Mount Vernon, Washington died August 29th ,
2002 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Hagedorn and son, Gary
Hagedorn.
Mrs. Hagedorn is survived by her daughter, Laura Lebo, Lake Stevens, WA and
her son, Christopher Hagedorn, Mount Vernon, WA; seven grandchildren and 5
great granchildren; sisters Ada Heatherly, Elva Morton, and Irene Robinette;
brother, J.L. Shoun.
A celebration of Sylvia's life will be held Saturday October 12th at 11am at
Demory Baptist Church with a reception follwing.
Remembrances, which will go in support of a monument for Sylvia at Baker's
Forge Cemetery can be made to: Chris Hagedorn, 14169 Avon Allen Road, Mount
Vernon, WA 98373.


Victoria Grace Hutson, infant, of LaFollette, died October 4th, 2002 at St.
Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Darlene Aaron and great
grandfather, Irving Caswell.
Victoria is survived by her parents, Odas and Brandy Hutson; sisters, Mykala
and Darlana; brother, Caleb, all of LaFollette. Grandparents, Tracy Aaron,
MI, Parthena and Ernie Collette, LaFollette and Gaylon Hutson, Oneida; Great
grandparents, Harrison and Nadine Paul, LaFollette, Cora-Vee Caswell,
Freemont, IN.
Funeral services were October 7th at Walters Chapel with the Reverend Randy
Moore officiating. Following services, the family chose cremation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.


George Donald Miller, 72, of LaFollette died October 7th, 2002 at U.T.
Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Jane Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters, Shelly DeLoach,
Maryville and Cynthia Hatchette, Knoxville; nine grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
Graveside services and Interment will be at 1:30pm October 10th (Thursday)
at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville. Reverend Bernice
W. Kirkland will be officiating and Military Honors by the East Tennessee
Honor Guard.
Cross Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Joe Morris, Sr., 61, of LaFollette died October 3rd, 2002 at his
home.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Morris.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Cecile Morris, LaFollette; sons, Donald
Morris, Jr., Clinton, Roger Lee Morris, Jeffery Ray Morris, LaFollette;
daughters, Kelly Lawerence and Maria Morris, Jodi Nutting all of Mass.;
mother, Gladys Morris; brothers, Wayne Morris and Sam Morris, both of
LaFollette; sisters, Pat White and Brenda Parrott both of Crossville.
Funeral services were October 7th in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral
Home with Reverend Darryl Griffith officiating.
Interment was in Campbell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.


Mable Cleo Payne, 81, of Jacksboro died October 3rd, 2002 at St. Mary's
Medical Center of Campbell County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Payne; son, Donald Payne
and parents, Tom Edd and Hattie Goins McNeely.
Mrs. Payne is survived by her son Marvin Payne, Sr., Jacksboro; two
grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers; Delmus McNeely, GA,
Dalone McNeely, OH; sisters, Bernice Smith, OH and Mary Dotson, MD.
Funeral services were October 6th in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral
Home with the Reverend David Hicks officiating.
Interment was in Campbell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.


Maude Marie Smith, 89, of Jellico died October 2nd, 2002 at Baptist Regional
Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Billy Joe Smith, Jerry Wayne Smith,
and Donald Smith; daughter, Mildred Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Robert Smith, Jellico and Lonnie L,
Smith, OH; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were October 5th at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with
Reverend Billy Carpenter officiating.
Interment was in the Jellico Cemetery.


Novella Smith,81, of LaFollette died October 5th, 2002 at Sunbridge Nursing
Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Smith and parents, Ulis and
Minnie Hale Williams.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Ulis Williams, LaFollette; three
grandchildren and four great granchildren.
Funeral services were October 7th in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral
Home with Reverend O.P. Byrd officiating. Interment was in Campbell Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.


Ronald Terry (Donnie) Wilkerson, of Jacksboro died October 5th, 2002 at Fort
Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rose Bernince
Wilkerson; brothers, James Willaim Violette and George Wayne Wilkerson.
Mr. Wilkerson is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wilkerson, Jacksboro;
daughter, Terri York, LaFollette; sons, Stacy Wilkerson and Ronald Terry
Wilkerson II, both of Jacksboro; three grandchildren; sisters, Ann Stout,
Knoxville, Linda Kelton Cagle, Knoxville and LaFollette; brother, Ernest
Wilkerson, GA.
Funeral services were October 8th, at Walters Chapel with Reverend Ralph
Cordell officiating.
The family requested private interment services.
