PLASTER, LAURA C. - age 87 of Knoxville,
ROMINES, THOMAS S. - 59, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Coalfield,

PLASTER, LAURA C. - age 87 of Knoxville, passed away September 14, 2002 at
St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of
Heiskell, Tenn. and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Plaster;
son, Charles Benson Plaster and daughter, Clara Jean Plaster and 3 sisters.
She was a well loved resident of Weston Place. Survived by son and daughter
in law, Danny M. Plaster and wife, Patricia of Clinton, Tenn.; daughter,
Joyce P. Smith of Powell, Tenn.; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and
1 great-great grandchild; brother, Earl Cronan of Knoxville; 3 nephews; and 1
niece. Funeral services 8 p.m. Monday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev.
Harold Ogle officiating, soloist: Ron Cronan. Family and friends will meet at
9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery for a 10 a.m.
interment service. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday Rose Mortuary
Broadway Chapel.
ROMINES, THOMAS S. - 59, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Coalfield, passed
away at his home on September 7, 2002. He had suffered for two years with
multiple myeloma. He was retired from Overnite Transportation with 30 years
service. Preceded in death by parents, Harvey H. and Mary Romines, and by 3
grandsons. He is survived by his wife, LaRue; five children and 16
grandchildren, who were his special joy. Also survived by brother, Harvey,
Jr. (Buddy) and wife Bonnie of Warner Robins, GA; sister, Huldah Sue Watkins
and husband Paul of Knoxville. A memorial service was held September 10 at
Deerbrook Baptist Church in Humble, TX, the Reverend Tom D. Fritts presiding.
