Jackie, It's been a while since we communicated. My wife and I returned in
June from a 6 week trip that included a trip to Green Hill Cemetery in
Annville, Ky where Samuel and his second wife Martha are buried. I found an
interesting record in McKee, the county seat. It concerns a land transaction
for one-dollar to establish a school or for a church. Not quite sure if
either already existed. I have communicated with the clerk of Green Hill
Baptist Church by phone, and we are going to exchange info. I don't know if I
sent you a record I received from the Masons which documents Samuel's (and
his son-in-law Joshua's) membership in the Masons. Joshua married Orlena, dau
of Samuel's first marriage to Mary E. Roach. Joshua and Orlena are also
buried in Green Hill Cemetery. Let me know if you want any of this and I will
send it to you. I would like to have more personal type info about Mary
Elizabeth and a picture of her if one exists. Do you have any suggestions?
