CAMPBELL, FLOSSIE ELIZABETH - age 97, of LaFollette, passed away Tuesday,
July 16, at St. Mary's Health and Rehab Center in LaFollette. She was a
member of Ivydell Church of God. Preceded in death by husband, Sherman
Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was born July 16, 1905. Survivors: son, James
Campbell of LaFollette; daughters, Margaret Richardson of Florida, Lucille
McDonald of Maryville, Anna Lee Wells and Mary Evans, both of LaFollette;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be
8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Cross Funeral Home, Rev. Pat Ayers and Rev.
Junior Dilbeck officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, at
Peabody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday
prior to the funeral service. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.

CARMACK, JODI LYNN HODGE OSBORNE - age 37, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday,
July 11, 2002. Survived by children, Leslie New and Matthew Osborne; parents,
Ed and Alice Hodge; sisters, Michelle and Elizabeth (Boo) of Wichita, Kansas,
and grandmother, Ruby Coffey of Blaine. A Memorial Service will be 7:00 p.m.,
Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Highland Springs Baptist Church in Blaine.

HILL, MARGARET LOUISE - age 98, of Clinton, passed away Monday, July 15,
2002, at the Windwood Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Mark's
United Methodist Church. She was a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern
Star, where she had served as Past Matron, 40 year member of Amaranth and
served as Past Royal Matron. In both orders, she had held many Grand Offices.
She was also a member of Rebekahs. She had worked at Magnet Hosiery Mill in
Clinton before their closing. She retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse from
Palomar General Hospital in Escondido, Calif. Preceded in death by husband,
Floyd T. Hill; parents, James and Mary Russell McCoy; 11 brothers and
sisters. Margaret was born June 25, 1904 in Oliver Springs, and recently
celebrated her 98th birthday with her family at her home. Survivors: son and
daughter-in-law, Charles W. and Joyce J. Hill of Clinton; granddaughters,
Candy Pollard, Michelle George and Shannon Smith; great-granddaughters,
Courtney, Jessie, Brookie, Brittany and Katie, several nieces and nephews,
and a host of very dear friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Clinton,
with memorial service following at 8 p.m. at the church with Rev. Lee Cats
and Rev. John Clark officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday at Sunset
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 248
North Main Street, Clinton, Tenn. 37716. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, of
Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.

NORTHCUTT, CHARLES LEE - of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July
14, 2002, in Clinton, Tennessee, at Fox Inn Campground. Charles was born in
Sparta, Tennessee, June 3, 1932, and was the son of Fred and Novella
Northcutt. On September 6, 1953, Charles was united in marriage to Eleanor
Louise Dossett in LaFollette, Tennessee. Charles and Eleanor were blessed
with one son, Charles Lee Northcutt, Junior of Elyria, Ohio. In 1972, Charles
retired from Midland Steel Company in Cleveland, Ohio, after many years of
service, where he served as the Union Steward. Charles enjoyed traveling in
his motor home throughout the United States with his wife, Eleanor, and
especially enjoyed visiting with family. Charles was loved by all who met him
and will be remembered for his love of life and ability to see good in all
things. Surviving family include his wife of 48 years, Eleanor; his son,
Charles; daughter-in-law, Connie, and grandchildren, Elli Northcutt Heaton
and her husband, David of Atlanta, Georgia, Charles Lee Northcutt, III, of
Streetsboro, Ohio, Dorothy Bailes Vicens of Raleigh, North Carolina, Alisa
Bailes of Amherst, Ohio, and Garland Bailes of Lorain, Ohio. Charles was also
survived by the following brothers and sisters: Fred Northcutt, Junior of
Dayton, Ohio, Alise Valance of Columbus, Ohio, Jack Northcutt of Falls Mills,
Virginia, and Helen Vinsant of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Charles was preceded in
death by his sister, Mildred Byrd of Kingsport, Tennessee, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Martin
Wilson Chapel with Pastor Jim Wesson officiating the going home celebration.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Campbell Memorial Gardens. The
family will receive friends from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Martin
Wilson Funeral Home. Martin Wilson Funeral Home, of LaFollette, responsible
for arrangements.

WARD, JAMES WILLIAM - age 62, of Caryville, passed away Monday, July 15 at
St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell County. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Sara McKamey Ward; brothers, Luther
Ward, Cordice "Shorty" Ward and Don Ward; sister, Evelyn "Ward" Wallace.
Survivors: wife, Pauline (Cross) Ward; sisters, Betty (Ward) Smith and
Barbara Ward; brother, Michael Ward; sisters-in-law, Gerldine Ward and
Margaret Ward; brothers-in-law, Gordon Smith and Chester Cross; step- mother,
Myrtle Ward; three step-sisters and one step-brother and a host of nieces and
nephews. The funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 at Cross
Chapel, Rev. Bruce Wallace officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, July 18, at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by
Campbell County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday prior to the funeral service. The Pallbearers will be Mr. Ward's
nephews. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
