LAKLEE OWENS, 11, of Clinton, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at the
University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville of injuries sustained in
an automobile accident.
She was the daughter of the Rev. Johnny and Lydia Taylor Owens of Clinton. In
addition to her parents, Laklee is survived by two sisters, Brittany Owens of
Clinton and Angel Hayes and her husband, Ricky, of Lake City; her maternal
grandmother, Rosie Taylor of Clinton; and her paternal grandparents, John and
Tess Owens of Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Cherry Bottom
Baptist Church in Lake City with the Rev. Rick Howard, the Rev. Verlin
Phillips and the Rev. Bo Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow at Walker-Long Cemetery in Dutch Valley.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 21, at
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
