BRYSON, LARRY - age 57, of Kingston, Tenn., formerly of Oliver Springs,
passed away at his home in Kingston. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at
this time. Sharp Funeral Home, in Oliver Springs, Tenn., in charge of
arrangements.

KNIGHT, MACK RICHARD - age 48, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at
Ft. Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. Employed with Averitt Express Inc.,
where he was a truck driver. Survived by wife, Patricia Greene Knight; son,
Jason Richard Knight, and daughter, Ashley Elaine Knight, all of Oak Ridge;
mother, Ella Mae Shirley Knight of Oak Ridge; brothers, Paul E. Knight and
wife, Claudia of Boston, Mass., Ray Knight of San German, Puerto Rico, and
Glenn Knight and wife, Amy of Ohio; sister, Lucia King of Spartanburg, S.C.,
and several nieces. Funeral services are Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at 3:00
p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Graeme Sieber officiating. Burial to
follow in Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday
from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.

LEAB, WILLIAM "BILL" - age 64 of Devonia in the New River Community where he
resided, passed away Monday May 13, 2002. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May
15, 2002 at the Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday, May
16, 2002 at the Grave Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Daugherty, Rev.
Murl Phillips, Rev. Wayne Phillips, and Brother Justin Phillips officiating.
Bill will lie in state one hour prior to his funeral service. Interment to
follow the funeral service Thursday May 16, 2002 at the Grave Hill Cemetery.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.

McCARTY, MOLLIE - age 85, of LaFollette, passed away Monday, May 13, 2002, at
her home. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church,
Speedwell. Preceded in death by son, Odell McCarty. Survivors: husband of 71
years, O. D. (Orus) McCarty; sons and daughters-in-law, Olen O. McCarty of
LaFollette, Herschel and Carol McCarty of LaFollette, and David and Susan
McCarty of Panama City Beach, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Cobia and Frank
Stagnolia of LaFollette; 20 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren, and three
great-great grandchildren, and brother, Frank Lamb of Speedwell. Funeral
service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Cross Chapel, Elder William Rymer,
Elder Larry Anderson, and Elder Glen Davis officiating. Interment in Sunrise
Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 til 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at
Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.

NELSON, DOSSIE LEE - age 88, of Clinton, passed away Monday, May 13, 2002, at
the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of Farmers Grove
Baptist Church since 1933. Preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Burley
H. Nelson; infant daughter, Bobbie Jean Nelson; granddaughter, Aimee Johnson
Cates; grandson, Donald Lynn Wells; parents, Elbert and Margaret Williams
Rosenbalm; sister, Flossie Cox; brother, Avis Rosenbalm, and sister, J. P.
and P. L. Rosenbalm. Mrs. Nelson was born March 30, 1914, in Anderson County.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Thelma Jo and Warren Wells, Earldene
and Tom Miller, and Carolyn and Arnold Johnson, all of Clinton;
grandchildren, Bill Wells of Florida, Marilyn Collins of Karns, Burl Wells
Becky Mounger, Sally Barlow, Kim Daugherty, Pam Clevenger and Cara Foust, all
of Clinton, and Carl E. Cooper of Sunbury, Ohio; 23 great-grandchildren, and
two great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Zorrow and
Georgia Rosenbalm of Clinton, Fletcher and Reva Rosenbalm of Powell, and Rev.
Jackie O'dell and Mary Rosenbalm of Luttrell. The family will receive friends
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Farmers Grove Baptist Church
with funeral service following at 8:00 p.m., at the church with Rev. Moss
Beets and Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral
Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.

POLING, ROBERT GEORGE - age 81, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 14,
2002, at the Windwood Health Care Center. He retired after 30 years of
service from Daniel Construction in Greenville, South Carolina, as a
Construction Manager. He was a United States Navy Veteran, who served during
World War II. Mr. Poling was also a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Neva Gidley Poling; brother, Harry
Poling, and grandson, Brian Dugan Poling. He was born July 4, 1920, in
Hebron, Indiana. Survivors: wife, Llois D. Poling of Clinton; son, Steven
Poling and wife, Sandra of Clinton; grandchildren, Robert Poling, Elizabeth
Diaz, Rebekah Poling, and Jessica Pittman, and four great- grandchildren. The
family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2002, at
Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A private graveside service will be
held by the family at Grandview Memorial Gardens with full military honors
being conducted by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Holley Gamble
Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all arrangements.
