Pennington, Rev. Floyd L., beloved husband of the late Mary Ruth (Nee Price)
Pennington. Father of Charles Edward (Linda Dale) Pennington, Martha
Pennington (Jack) Menefee and Mark Edwin (Christy) Pennington. Brother of
Hazel Lockard, Nora Jackson, Ruby Lucas, Donald Pennington and the late
Lloyd Pennington. Proud Papaw of 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Rev. Pennington died Sunday, December 23, 2001 at the age of 86. Family and
friends may call at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home 117 West Main St. (St. Rt.
125) Amelia, Ohio on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral Service Friday,
December 28 at 11:00 A. M. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory
to Common Ground Ministries 2001 Mohawk Place, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214.

Jeffers, Wanda A., age 63 of Dayton passed away Sunday, December 23, 2001.
Mrs. Jeffers was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie & Gracie (Mayberry)
Nelson; 2 sisters Pauline Fulton, Helena Jenkins; granddaughter Jamie
Jeffers. Wanda is survived by her husband of 43 years Ray C. Jeffers Sr., 2
sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Ray C. Jr. & Judy Jeffers of Dayton, James
Jeffers of Piqua; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Cicilia & Luke Hilton of TN,
Althea & Thomas Fugate of KY, Charlene Jeffers & Giovani Rodriquez of
Dayton; 1 brother, Vester Ray Nelson of W. VA.; 1 sister & brother-in-law,
Shirley & John Abernathy of W.VA.; 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,
several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM
Thursday, December 27, 2001 at the Rogers Funeral Home, New Lebanon with
Pastor Clyde O. Waites presiding. Wanda's family will receive friends

Winningham, Hooper R., Jr. - age 62, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday,
December 26, 2001 in his home. Hooper was born October 22, 1939 in
Tennessee. He retired from General Motors and was employed as Meat Dept.
Manager at Russ' Market. Hooper was preceded in death by mother, father, two
sisters, son, Michael and daughter, Kathy. He is survived by his wife, Betty
Winningham; sons & daughters-in-law, Greg Winningham of Dayton, Pierre &
Margaret Winningham of Dayton, Rick & Rhonda Winningham of Spring Valley,
Christopher & Andria Winningham of Kettering; sisters, Joyce Davis & husband
Harold of New Carlisle; Faye Gibbs & husband Pete of Springboro;
sister-in-law, Violet Compton and husband Jim of Cleveland; aunt, Dorless
Williams of Dayton; grandchildren, Bryan, Lauren, Ricky, Michael, Sarah,
Joshua, Nikki and Jason. Funeral Service will be held Noon Saturday,
December 29, at the Meyer-Boehmer & Feucht Funeral Home, 1733 Brown St.
Burial in Dayton Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Saturday from
10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. We will always love and
