Tom Lewallen, 78, of Elk Valley, died on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Saint Mary's
Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a member of Lick Fork United
Baptist Church for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by parents William Henry and Lana Trammell
Lewallen; brothers James Hiram (Jim), Jeff L., Henry, Lee and Norris (Doc);
sisters Myrtle Gibson, Mary Bell Perkins and Christen Blankenship
He is survived by wife lla Mae; son Billy, both of Elk Valley.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Cox and Son Chapel with Rev.
Harold Norman and Rev. Jason Ivey officiating. Burial following in Valley
View Cemetery.
Alexander Warren Cree, 2 months, of Kokomo, Ind., died Wednesday, Nov. 7, at
Methodist Hospital in Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Walter and Florance Pebley
and Evan and Mary Cree.
He was the son of Amy Turner and James Cree.
Survivors include two sisters, Kristen Turner and Leighann Turner;
grandparents Jo Hanna and Mike Rankert, Tim and Sandy Glassburn and Evan and
Dianne Cree; stepfather Jamie Ruckman; two uncles, Joshua Glassburn and
Scott Cree; aunt Tiffany Glassburn and aunt and uncle Jennifer and Chris
Campbell.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 12, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer
with Pastor William Allison officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memory
Gardens.
Ellers Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Marie Lindsay Daugherty, 92, of LaFollette, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, at
University of Tennessee Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church
of Jacksboro and Lydia Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by husband Boyd Daughtery; daughter Wanda Broyles;
parents Riley and Carrie (Gross) Lindsay; sister Bernice (Lindsay) Coker;
brothers Carl and Everett Lindsay.
She is survived by daughters Leona Beasley of Atlanta, Ga., Lucille Haggard
of LaFollette, Jean Parks of Jacksboro, Jana Edward Branam of Jellico and
Carol Davis Schultz of Cleveland, Tenn.; several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10, at the First Baptist Church of
Jacksboro with Rev. Charles Parker officiating. Interment was in the
Cumberland View Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
First Baptist Church Building Fund of Jacksboro

Lora J. England, 64, of Dacula, Ga., formerly of Claiborne County, died on
Nov. 2. She was a member of Meadow Baptist in Duluth, Ga.
She is survived by husband Mack England of Dacula, Ga.; son Alan Haze of
Lawrenceville, Ga., Gary Wayne England of Dacula, Ga.; mother Cora Douglas
of LaFollette; sisters Mary Ruth Sammers of Orlando, Fla., Georgia Payne of
Chamblee, Ga., Carolyn Copeland of Hayesville, NC, Joyce Douglas of
LaFollette and Priscilla Thornton of Cumming, Ga.; brother H. R. Douglas of
Jacksboro and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 6 at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home,
Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Jack Lawson officiating. Interment was in the
Gwinnett Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to PKD
Foundation, 4901 Main St. Suite 200, Kansas City, MD 64112.
Paul Euvaune Gross Jr., 47, of Jacksboro, died Sunday, Nov. 11 at the U.T.
Medical Center of Knoxville. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by father Paul Gross Sr.
He is survived by wife Sandra Gross; daughter Melissa Gross; granddaughter
Olivia Gross, all of Jacksboro; mother Carrie Cross of Jacksboro; brother
James Gross of Jacksboro; sisters Bonnie Daugherty of Jacksboro and Linda
Jones of LaFollette; grandmother Nora Gross of Jacksoboro.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Indian Creek Baptist Church
with Rev. Ralph Leach and Vance Irwin officiating. Interment was in the
Indian Creek Cemetery.

Rosa Jeannette Heatherly, 85, of LaFollette, died on Monday, Nov. 5, at the
St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Church of
God Faith.
She was preceded in death by husband Elmer K. Heatherly; parents Cas and
Elsie Mae Riggs Bailey; brothers Leon, Esker and Albert Jr. Bailey.
She is survived by sons Ralph Heatherly, Robert Heatherly and Michael
Heatherly, all of Jacksboro; daughters Linda Gibson and Barbara Mardis both
of LaFollette and Brenda Whaley of Sevierville and 16 grandchildren, 19
great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; brother Roy Bailey
of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters Sally Bailey and Lena Petree, both of
LaFollette.
Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 8, at the West Walden Street Church of
God with Rev. Jasper Walden and Rev. Andrew Ayers officiating. Interment was
in the Cumberland View Cemetery.

Buford Johnson, 54, of Jellico, died on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Methodist
Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by father Ben Johnson; sister Mary Ella.
She is survived by wife Ruby Johnson of Jellico; sons Ben Johnson of
Jellico, Mark Johnson of Williamburg, Ky., Michael Johnson of Alcoa; mother
Jessie Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; brothers Andy Johnson of Groveland, Fla.,
Jerry Johnson of Chicago, Ill. and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 9, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Arlie Petree officiating. Interment was in the Terry Creek Cemetery.
Karen J. (Tatum) Kennedy, 61, of Olive Branch, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, at her
home. She worked for General Electric.
She was preceded in death by parents Clyde Taturm and Anna May (Dillman)
Taturm; husband Lee Kennedy; brother Leonard Tatum; sisters Carolyn Kee and
Evelyn Jost.
She survived by son Gary Collins of Thebes; daughters Lee Ann Kennedy of
DeKalb, Ill. and Lennie Hayes of LaFollette; four grandchildren; brothers
Clyde Tatum Jr. of Tamms, Billy Taturm of Thebes and Leroy Tatum of East
Cape; sister Kathryn Provow of West Plains, Mo.
Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Memorials may be made at the American Cancer Society Pancreatic Cancer
Research and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Chester Marlow, 58, of Jacksboro, died Tuesday, Nov. 6. He was a member of
Beech Fork Baptist Church of Caryville.
He was preceded in death by mother Mencie Marlow; sisters Juanita and
Pauline Marlow.
He is survived by wife Gracie Marlow; daughters Wanda Joyce of Clinton,
Donna McKamey of Caryville, Tammy Lane of Lake City and Angela Wray of
Caryville; son Chester Marlow Jr. of Jacksboro and Michael Marlow of
Caryville; father and step-mother Allen and Bertha Marlow of Caryville and
six grandchildren; sister Theda McKamey of Jacksboro; brother Lester Marlow
of Caryville.
Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 8, at Beech Fork Baptist Church with
Rev. Lee Phillips and Rev. Ray Ward and Rev. Leroy Braden officiating.
Interment was in the Beech Fork Cemetery.

Lula (Bean) McDonald, 81, of Speedwell, died Monday, Nov. 12 at St. Mary's
Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by husband William Dayton McDonald; son Ello
McDonald Sr.; parents Campbell and Emma Jane Beeler Bean and 2
granddaughters and great-granddaughter.
She is survived by sons Charles David McDonald and J.C. McDonald of
Speedwell; daughters Lilly Turner of Logansport, Tenn., Madge Treadway,
Geneva Combs and Betty Edwards, all of Speedwell and 42 grandchildren, 54
great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Velma Smith of
Oregon, Ohio, Lois Paul and Katie Trowder, both of Toledo, Ohio.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Emmanuel Baptist Church of
Speedwell with Rev. Donald R. Proffitt officiating. Interment was in the
Clawson Cemetery of Speedwell

Theodore Nelson Morrow Sr., 87, of LaFollette, died on Friday, Nov. 9, at
the Beech Tree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico. He was a member of Rock Creek
Community Church of God and a member of Rockwood Masonic Lodge #403 and
Eastern Star of Stewart, Fla.,
He was a retired Chauffer for International Telephone and Telegraph in New
Jersey and a WWII, 252 Field Artillery and served in Germany and Europe.
He was preceded in death by parents John J. Marrow and Vena Snow.
He is survived by wife Margaret Marrow; sons Theodore Nelson of Jacksboro,
David Lynn of Effort, Pa.; stepsons Gary, Larry, L.C. and Austin Johnson;
daughter Verna Mae Isgo of LaFollette; stepdaughter Shirley Johnson of
LaFollette; brother Haywood Morrow of Hackensack, N.J.; half-brother Issac
Marrow of Chattanooga; sister Thelma Walker of Old Tappen, N.J.; half-sister
Lillian Baxter of Easley, S.C. and three grandchildren, 14 step
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 12, at the Chapel of Martin Wilson
Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Walls and Bart Jordan officiating. Interment was
Tuesday with full Military Honors in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Rockwood, Tenn.
Helen Yvonne Owens, 66, of Buckcreek Rd. of Williamsburg, Ky., died on
Saturday, Nov. 3 at her home.
She is survived by husband I. J. Owens; son Jackie Owens, all of
Williamsburg, Ky., granddaughter Janet Turner of Corbin, Ky.; brothers Roy
Gilburth of Manchester, Tenn., Kenneth Gilburth Jackson of Mississippi; one
great grandchild.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the Saxton Baptist Church with Rev.
Mike Grey and Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment was in the
Clearfork Cemetery.

Nora Etta Perkins, 95, of Jacksboro, died on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Beech
Tree Manor in Jellico. She was a member of Newcomb Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Perry Perkins; son James Opal Perkins;
parents Sampson and Sarah Reynolds Meredith; brothers Chester, Lee and Earl
Meredith; sisters Pearl, Mary Ann, Minnie and Vernie.
She is survived by son Charles B. Perkins of Richmond, Ky.; daughters
Pauline Lethco of N. Augusta, S.C. and Lena Mae Buzzee of Ft. Mitchell, Ky.;
brothers Willard Meredith of Bluff City, Tenn., R.L. Meredith of Caryville
and Johnny Meredith of Ala.
Funeral services and Interment was Monday in the Elk Fork Cemetery with Rev.
Fredrick Meredith officiating.

Christian Blake Reichel, 4, of LaFollette, died on Oct. 29.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers James Reichel, Harry Wing and
George Rowlett.
He is survived by parents Sherry and David Reichel; brothers David James
Reichel, Kean Jeffery Wing and Gavin Liam Reichel; grandmama's Allison
Reichel, Darlene Rowlett and Sandra Wing.

Alice Seiber, 90, of Briceville, died on Saturday, Nov.10 at the Methodist
Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a member of the Laurel Branch Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Seiber; daughter Ruby
Seiber; parents Henry and Ardelia Phillips Wilson and several sisters and
brothers.
She is survived by J.D. Seiber of Griffith, Indiana, Rev. R.C. Seiber of
Briceville and Henry Seiber of Briceville; sisters Tennie Robinson of Oliver
Springs, Elizabeth Bailey of Lake City and Ruth Isabell of Nashville and
nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 11, at the chapel of Holley-Gamble with
Rev. Moss Beets and Rev. Archie Seiber officiating. Interment was in the
Seiber Cemetery in Briceville.
Tammy Lynn Shutts, 40, of Jellico, died on Sunday, Nov. 11 at her home.
She is survived by sons Greg Marlow of Jellico, Marty Marlow of Caryville,
Thomas Blankenship of Elk Valley and Kenny Shutts of Ashland, Ky.; daughter
Shelly Lowe of Williamsburg, Ky., father Howard Weaver of Jellico, Michael
Weaver of Jellico, David Weaver of LaFollette and Jeffrey Weaver of Jellico;
sister Wilma Kuck of DeGreff, Ohio.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Troy Cupp officiating. Interment was in the Monday Family Cemetery.
Charlie Carl Turner, 58, of LaFollette, died on Saturday, Nov. 10 at St.
Mary's of Campbell County. He was a member of Pine Grove Independent Baptist
Church and a Sales Representative for Lance Snack Foods and an U.S. Army
Veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents Otis and Pauline Turner; sister Mary
Turner.
He is survived by wife Patsy Sue Turner; sons Charlie C. Turner Jr., Randy
S. Turner, Charlene Turner and Ryan T; sisters Garnetta Pebley, Martha Cox,
Jenny Edwards, Judy Parker, Audrey Shears, Shirley Hensley, all of
LaFollette and Willene Dain of Oregon; brother Jody Turner of Kentucky and
one granddaughter.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Cross Chapel with Rev. Charles Goins
officiating. Interment was in Campbell Memorial Gardens with full military
honors by Campbell County Honor Guard.
