FOSTER, REV. ELMER STANLEY - age 72 of LaFollette, passed away Friday
November 2nd at St. Mary's Hospice. He was a member of Black Oak Ridge
Baptist Church. Former pastor of Black Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Calvary
Baptist Church, Norwood Baptist Church and First Baptist of Englewood, Ohio.
Past Master of Caryville Lodge #665. Preceded in death by parents, Wm. S.
and Hettie Foster; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors: loving wife of 23
years, Charlotte Sue (Orick) Foster of LaFollette; daughters and sons in
law, Cheryl and Dwight Carden of Halls, Beverly and Gary Pugh of Knoxville;
1 grandson; 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter; sister and brother
in law, Christine and Jack Adkins; brother, Homer Foster. Several nieces,
nephews, and cousins. Service 8 p.m. Sunday Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Danny
Wilson and Rev. Clyde Gray officiating. Family and friends will meet 1 p.m.
Monday at Zion Hill Cemetery for an interment service. Pallbearers: Clois
Farmer, J.C. Mitchell, Michael Orick, Rusty Orick, Raymond Jones and Gary
Adkins. Special thanks from the family to the staff of St. Mary's
Residential Hospice and Dr. Harjeet Narula. Family will receive friends 6-8
p.m. Sunday at Mynatt's.
