STONE, WIMA GIBSON - age 88, of Clinton, passed away Friday, September 21,
2001 at her home. Weatherford Mortuary of Oak Ridge is handling the
arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
WATSON, JORDAN DREW - age 21, of the Claxton community passed away Thursday,
September 20, 2001 at the East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville. He
died among family, friends & the wonderful caring nurses & doctors. He was
born in Oak Ridge on December 5, 1979. Preceded in death by beloved sister,
Britt Ashley Watson; grandfather, Herbert A. Lay; uncle, Deweey Grundy;
cousin, Shelley Massey. Survivors: parents, Dennis & Karen Lay Watson of
Claxton; sister & brother in law, Kristin & Stacy Tadlock of Claxton;
grandparents, Mayford & Betty Watson of Claxton, Iris Lay of Oak Ridge; aunts
& uncles, Connie Watson & Glenda & Paul Schuster of Louisville, Ky., David &
Martha Watson, Debbie Grundy, Mark & Lecia Watson & Bryan Watson, all of
Claxton, Suzanne Lay of Oak Ridge; several cousins. The family will receive
friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday September 23, 2001 at Edgemoor Baptist Church with
funeral service following at 4 p.m. with Rev. Charles Fritts, Rev. Mike Petty
& Dr. Don Hensley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Riverview
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to
