MARJORIE ELIZABETH BROWN WULFF, 91, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, Aug. 8,
2001, at NHC HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Born Feb. 6, 1910, in Morristown, N.J., she was the daughter of Charles A.
and Edith Walton Brown.
For 14 years, Mrs. Wulff was a teacher with the Mendham Borough School in
Mendham, N.J. She also taught for a short time at Lonsdale Elementary School
in Knoxville.
Mrs. Wulff was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the '43 Club and the
National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She was the widow of Albert Victor Rudolph Wulff, who died June 4, 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicky Wulff of Oak Ridge; her son, Al Wulff
of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Dolly Ducey of Morristown, N.J.; and
two grandchildren, Amy Phillips of Philadelphia, Pa., and Bobby Neely of
Jackson, Miss.
Ellen C. Phillips of Philadelphia was considered a special friend.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by
another daughter, Carolyn Wulff Neely, who died in 1999.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Oak
Ridge Memorial Park.
Weatherford Mortuary is handling arrangements

NOLA G. REED, 94, of Oak Ridge, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at NHC
HealthCare of Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Reed had been longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Walter N. Reed.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Milton and her husband, H.T. Milton,
of Oak Ridge; two grandsons, Anthony Smitherman of Knoxville and Dale Milton
of Oak Ridge; a granddaughter, Judy Norman of Nashville; and two
great-grandsons, Seth Norman and Jason Norman, both of Nashville.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by a son, Richard
Nelson Reed, and another grandson, Bryan Nelson Smitherman.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Oak Ridge
Memorial Park. The Rev. Charles Mattson of Trinity United Methodist Church
will officiate.
The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to Trinity
United Methodist Church, 320 Robertsville Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
Weatherford Mortuary is handling arrangements.
