Subject: [TNCAMPBE-L] Jackson Co. Schools....bounced email
Date: Tue, 7 Aug 2001 08:10:56 EDT
Hi Bobbie,
I sent below a while back but I keep getting my email bounced back....hmmm.
Thank you for the help!:
I am so sorry to take a long time to get back to you. I have started a
couple of times to email you thanks but have been diverted by my two little
munchkins. THANK YOU! Looking at that article, doesn't look like the school
was in operation in time for say 1819...must have been there later on OR
there was a DIFFERENT Jacksboro. Have to keep digging on this one. Thank
you so much for the response and the info. God Bless, Chris PS...Just got
info that Robert Doak was in Cambell Co. James I. Cash b. 1801 Jonesboro,
Washington Co. TN(the one who went to school in Jacksboro)....his dad John D.
Cash b. ca. 1772 served w/ Colonel Samual Wear under Capt. Robert Doak in the
War of 1812. John D. Cash sold his land off in Washington Co. TN in 1804 and
disappears except for the War of 1812 record that I have. They all show up
on the Roane/Rhea Co. border ca. 1823. Campbell Co. is looking better and
better as a place to look for my Cash family during this time frame. Maybe
James I. did go to school in Jacksboro like the article states! Thank you
again....
