CRISP, ALLEN - died Monday, July 9, 2001, in Oak Ridge. He was born August
23, 1942, in Robinsville, N.C. He graduated from Oak Ridge High School in
1961, and from Tennessee Wesleyan College in 1966, with an accounting degree.
He was employed at Y-12 in the accounting and budgets department, retiring in
1996. Preceded in death by his father, Ralph J. Crisp. He was a member of
Glenwood Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Frances Crisp of Oak Ridge;
daughter, Molly Crisp Shelton and husband , Jeff; son, Scott Crisp and wife,
Amy, all of Clinton; mother, Vivian Crisp of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Gavin
and Sarah Shelton, Beau, Josie, and Hunter Crisp, all of Clinton. Funeral
service will be held in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary on Wednesday, July
11, 2001, at 8 p.m. with Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating. Graveside service
will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to
The Emory Valley Center, 715 Emory Valley Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The
family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 6-8 p.m. at Weatherford
Mortuary, Oak Ridge
