GOAD, MR. FRAZIER - age 58, of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away Monday evening,
May 28, 2001, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville,
Tennessee. Frazier was born June 29, 1942, in Scott County. He was the son of
the late Rev. Marion Goad and Hazel Reed Goad. Frazier was a Veteran of the
United States Marine Corps, Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard as
Retention NCO, a graduate of Tusculum College, employed as an instructor at
the Tennessee Technology Center of Huntsville and dedicated to the education
of young people and adults. Frazier loved bluegrass music and enjoyed playing
his banjo and guitar. He was a member of the Baptist faith and will be
remembered and loved by all. In addition to his father, he was also preceded
in death by one brother, Vincent Goad, one sister, Barbara Lowe, one
grandson, Marion Alexander Goad and two brothers-in-law, Charles Orick and
Lawson Maples. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty L. Goad of Oneida,
his mother, Hazel Reed Goad of Huntsville, one daughter, Chrissie Boyatt and
husband Jeff of Oneida; three sons, Charles Goad and wife Angie of Oneida,
Chester Goad and wife Joy of Crossville, Tennessee, and Craig Goad of Oneida;
grandchildren, Sarah and Eli Boyatt, Aspen, Rebecca Goad, Ryan and Vincent
Goad and Corban Scott Goad; two brothers, Jack Goad and wife Shelby and Ray
Goad and wife JoAnn, both of Orlando, Florida; four sisters, Shirley Orick of
LaFollette, Rose Maples of LaFollette, Pearl Clowers and husband Ken of
Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, and Rena Gibson and husband Bob of Winona; one
brother-in-law, Sherrod Lowe of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two very special
friends, Jim Goad and John Bell, and several nieces, nephews, and many other
relatives and friends to mourn his passing. The family will receive friends
for visitation after 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in the Chapel of Four Oaks
Funeral Home in Huntsville with funeral services beginning at 8 p.m. with the
Rev. Jeff Chaney and Rev. Bobby Massengale officiating. Music will be
provided by the Foster Crossroads Baptist Church Choir. Serving as
Pallbearers will be Jim Goad, John Bell, Jimmy Lowe, Gene Lowe, Bobby Gibson,
and Kenny Gibson. Graveside services will be Friday, June 1, 11 a.m. at the
Fairview Memorial Gardens in the Fairview Community with Full Military Honors
being provided by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida. Four Oaks Funeral
Home, is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Mr. Frazier Goad.

GOLDEN, CHARLES EDWARD - age 51, of Oliver Springs, passed from this life on
Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at his home. He was born on August 17, 1949. He
honorably served his country in the United States Army and held the rank of
Sergeant. He worked in construction and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is
preceded in death by his father, Johnny Edward Golden and mother, Anna Mae
Fraley Golden. Survivors are children, Johnnie Edward Golden and wife Brandy
of Smithville, Dorothy Kathryn Taylor and husband David of Oliver Springs,
Charles William Golden of Knoxville; brothers, Johnnie Leonard Golden and
family of Knoxville, William Henry Patton and family of Oliver Springs, James
Emory Golden of Oliver Springs; sister, Alberta Farrer and children of
Knoxville; grandchildren, Christyna Golden, Johnnie Golden, Carl Kennedy, and
Cara Kennedy; nephews, Chris Sexton and wife Jessica, James Golden and wife
Amanda, Ronnie Patton, Henry Patton, Charles Patton, David Patton, Scott
Patton, Donnie Golden, Johnnie Golden and wife Kellie, and Sherman Golden;
nieces, Sherry Sweet and husband Eric, Wendy Golden , Brandy Fisher and
husband Josh, Tabitha West, Carrie West; great nephew, Christopher Sexton,
Jr. and great niece, Brigit Golden. The family will receive friends in the
chapel at Anderson County Funeral Home on Thursday, May 31, 2001, from 6-8
p.m. Funeral services will be immediately following with the Rev. Charles
Ogle officiating. Interment will be held on June 1, 2001, at 11 a.m. at
Clinch River Cemetery in Medford with full military honors. Anderson County
Funeral Home, in Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.

KIMBALL, MARY E. (BETTY) - age 77, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at
Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Born in Detroit, Mich., she later
married her husband of 57 years, Marvin O. Kimball. In addition to her
husband, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Doris
France; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Webster Bock; daughters and
sons-in-law, Diana and Phillip Alexander and Martha and Jonathan Hart; sons
and daughters-in-law, Richard and Diana Kimball and Kenneth and Janet
Kimball; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. The family will receive
friends at 6 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service, Friday, June 1, at
the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 470 Oak Ridge Turnpike, with Andrew
Hart officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made
to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses, c/o Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's
Witnesses, 470 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Arrangements by
