CRISTY, LOIS M. POLING - age 85, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, May 25,
2001, at Briarcliff Health Care Center. Member of Kern United Methodist
Church. Survived by: sons, Stephen Cristy and wife Lou Ann and Mark Cristy,
all of Oak Ridge, Jonathan Cristy and wife Terri of Gold River, Calif.;
brothers, Leland Poling and wife Lois of Tulsa, Okla., and Bill Poling of
Marysville, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Sunday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at Kern United Methodist
Church with Rev. Bill Mooney and Rev. E. C. Vestal officiating. Graveside
services are Tuesday, May 29 at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Memorials
may be made to the Christian Children's Fund. The family will receive friends
at Kern United Methodist Church in the Northex following the funeral service.

LEE, JAMES (JIM) R. - age 67, of East Knox Co., went to be with Jesus on
Thursday, May 24, 2001. He was a member of Pratt's Chapel Baptist Church in
East Knox Co. He was retired from Carrier Corps, Forks of the River, and the
U. S. Navy, with 20 years of service. Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his
first wife, Ann (Wagner) Lee; parents, Robert D. and Maude Lee of Livingston,
Tenn.; sisters, Imogene Salling of Luttrell, Tenn., and Geraldine (Gerrie)
Harmon of Jacksboro, Tenn. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Virginia
Lee; step mother, Ella McGhee of LaFollette, Tenn.; step daughters and
sons-in-law, Sharon and Jeff Elkins of Morristown, Tenn., Kim and John King
of Knoxville, Tenn.; step granddaughter, Jessica Ellison of Knoxville, Tenn.;
step grandsons, Joshua Ellison of Knoxville, Tenn., Jordan and Jacob Elkins
of Morristown, Tenn.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Geneva and Joe Riebly of
Centerville, Ohio, Linda Fay and Daryl Cooper of LaFollette, Tenn.; brothers
and sisters-in-law, Robert D. and Maxine Lee of Fairborn, Ohio, Gary and
Darlene Lee of LaFollette, Tenn.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and
June Oglesby of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Ray Oglesby; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, Roy and Fern Wagner of Knoxville (Halls), Tenn., and
Everette Harmon of LaFollette, also brothers and sisters-in-law out of state,
and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Highland
South Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26, from 6-8 p.m. with services following
at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Bob Zavattieri and Rev. Doug
Munsey will be officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on
Sunday, May 27, at Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be made to Pratt's Chapel Building Fund, 614 Pratt's Chapel Lane, Knoxville,

SHARP, MR. ANDREW WILLIAM (A.W.) - age 73, of LaFollette, passed away
Thursday, May 24, 2001, at LaFollette Nursing Home. He was preceded in death
by wife, Mrs. Wilma Summers Sharp, and parents, Andrew and Clara Sharp. He
operated a heating and air conditioning business in LaFollette for many
years. He was a member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church, a Gideon, a Mason, a
Shriner, and a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Survivors: one daughter, Vicki
Sharp of Nashville; two sisters, Betty Faye Sharp Russell of Indiana, and
Frankie Wilson of Strawberry Plains, Tenn.; two brothers, Bill Sammons of
Jacksboro and James Sammons of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren; special
friend, Mark Honaker of LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday 8 p.m. at Walters Chapel with
Rev. George Asbury officiating. Interment Sunday 10 a.m. at Campbell Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday before the
services at Walters Funeral Home. Walters Funeral Home, LaFollette, in charge
of arrangements.
