DILBECK, LARRY - age 53, of 279 Dilbeck Lane, Caryville, passed away suddenly
Wednesday, May 16, 2001, at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County.
He was a member of Vasper Baptist Church. He was an avid gardener. He liked
planting fruit trees and flowers. He loved spending time with his grandbabies
and loved his family very much. He was the Advertising Manager with the
LaFollette Press with over 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by
sister, Judy Dilbeck Stifler; grandparents, W. T. and Ida Mae Goins, and
Luther and Bertha Dilbeck. He is survived by wife, Carolyn Dilbeck of
Caryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Von and Sonya Dilbeck of Jellico, and
Ron and Naomia Dilbeck of Jacksboro; daughter, Tennille Dilbeck of Caryville;
grandchildren, Ryan, Mikayla, Madison Dilbeck, all of Jellico, Mackenzie
Dilbeck of Jacksboro; parents, Mack and Maude Dilbeck of Caryville; brothers,
Don and Gary Dilbeck, both of Caryville, and a host of other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2001, in the chapel
of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.Interment will follow in the New Vasper
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 19,
2001, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Martin Wilson Funeral Home, is in charge
of arrangements
HOUSLEY, WILLIAM - age 77, of Clinton, formerly of LaFollette, passed away
Thursday morning, May 17, 2001, at Windwood Health Care Center in Clinton. He
was preceded in death by wife, Pauline Perkins Housley; and parents, Henry
and Lucy (Ivey) Housley. Survivors: son, Billy Housley, Clinton; daughters,
Kathy Ward, Clinton, Barbara Trammell, Knoxville; 7 grandchildren; 7 great
grandchildren; sister Isa Yarwood, Salem, Ark. Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday
May 18, at Cross Funeral Home, Rev. David Bell officiating. Interment
Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the
funeral service. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
LINDLEY, TAMMY MARIE - age 23, of Lake City, passed away Thursday May 17,
2001 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born on January 6,
1978. She attended Pellissippi Community College. Survivors are mother, Debra
Bell of Lake City; god mother, Sheila Bunch of Lake City; sister, Patricia
Bell of Lake City; brother, Joshua Bell of Lake City; grandmothers, Joyce
King of Fla., & Arige Bell of Clinton; great grandmother, Florence Dexter of
Fla.; uncles Russell Bell of Clinton, Bubba Bergenholtz and wife, Adria of
Fla., Kurt Bergenholz & wife, Brenda of Fla.; aunt, Sherry Gentry of Fla.
Anderson County Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements. The
family will receive friends on May 18, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services
will be held on May 19, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Graveside services are
incomplete at this time.
QUINN, HENRY ARTHUR, JR. - age 80 of Oak Ridge died Thursday, May 17, 2001 at
the Methodist Medical Center of respiratory failure. Member and Elder of
Covenant Presbyterian Church. Retired Special Agent/FBI. Veteran of WWII
serving with the US Navy. Survived by: wife of 53 years, Marjorie "Marge"
McMaster Quinn of Oak Ridge; son, Robert Arthur Quinn of Oak Ridge; sister,
Henrietta Quinn Monroe of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces, Lindsay Bullinger, Sarah
Frederking and Jane Vallee. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May
19, 2001 at 3 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Hall
officiating. Graveside services are Saturday May 19, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Oak
Ridge Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant
Presbyterian Church, 190 Manhattan Ave., Oak Ridge, Tenn. 37830 or to the
donors' favorite charity. The family will receive friends on Saturday.

RICHARDSON, LOTIS MAE BURCH - age 89, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, May
16, 2001, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Newport, where she taught Sunday School and
received a plaque for twenty-five years of service.She was a former Blount
County and Cocke County Middle School teacher for approximately thirty years.
She completed her graduate studies at Hiawassee College with a degree in
education. Preceded in death by husband, John Richardson; parents, Joseph and
Etta I. Hampton Burch; twin brother, Jack Burch and brother, Altman Burch.
She was born April 18, 1912, in Ivy, TN. Survivors: sister, Ora Lee Coleman
of Atlanta, Georgia; special nieces and nephews, Owen Richardson and wife
Jackie of Clinton, and Reeves Stone and wife, Joynell of Carrollton, Georgia;
several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m.
Friday, May 18, 2001, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral
service following at 7:30 p.m., in the chapel with Rev. George Williams
officiating. Interment will be held 10:30 a.m. Sat. at Overton Cemetery.
