THOMPSON, SANDRA KAY - age 35, of the Cherry Bottom Community in Caryville,
Tenn., passed away Monday, May 7, 2001, at the Methodist Medical Center in
Oak Ridge, Tenn. Sandra was preceded in death by two children, Eric Jones and
Ashley Duff; grandparents, Dell and Mable Reed and Walter Thompson.
Survivors: son, Wyatt Chapman of Caryville; daughter, Sierra Thompson of
Caryville; parents, Ray and Wilma Thompson of Caryville; brother, Stephen
Thompson of LaFollette; sister, Kelley Thompson of Caryville; half-sister,
Betsy Merriman of Halls; grandmother, Ruby Thompson of LaFollette; special
cousin, Debbie Cox of Lake City, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 10, 2001, from 6-8 p.m. at the
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral service following at 8 p.m.
in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hunley and the
Rev. Rick Howard officiating. Interment will be Friday, May 11, 2001, at 1
p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, in
Lake City, in charge of all arrangements.
