MINCEY, CHARLES LEE, JR. - passed away from this life on Monday, April 30,
2001, at the age of 48. Charles honorably served his country in the United
States Marine Corps, during the Vietnam Era. He is preceded in death by
father, Charles Lee Mincey, Sr. and mother, Alice Graham Mincey. Survivors
are son, Daniel Lee Mincey of Clinton; daughters, Debra Wilson of Clinton,
Elizabeth Ramsey of Knoxville; brothers, Larry Mincey of Clinton, Robert
Mincey of Knoxville, Roger Mincey of Cleveland, Tenn., and Mark Mincey of
Knoxville; sister, Loretta Mincey of Knoxville; grandchildren, Lanita Wilson
and Celeste Mincey. The family will receive friends in the chapel on
Thursday, May 3, 2001, from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral services immediately
following with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Final Disposition will be
Friday, May 4, 2001, 11 a.m., at Sunset Cemetery with full military honors.
Anderson County Funeral Home, Clinton, in charge.

REED, TONY - age 63, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at the
Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was of the Baptist faith. He was
self-employed as a General Contractor. His favorite pastimes were coon
hunting and watching U. T. Football. Preceded in death by parents, Cleveland
and Flora Green Reed; grandson, William Anthony Hansard; sister, Lucille
Mitchell; brothers, Mark and Raymond Reed. He was born July 12, 1937, in
Anderson County. Survivors: wife, Cathy Carter Reed of Clinton; daughters,
Donna and Edward Overbay of Clinton, and Lisa and John Jennings of Clinton;
son, Bobby and Jo Ann Hansard of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Lyndsay
Reed of Clinton, Johnny and Lorene Reed of Clinton, and Gene and Maxie Reed
of Oliver Springs; several nieces and nephews. Special Friends, Barbara
Burnette of Clinton, Rose Taylor, Carol Reed, and Ray Daniels, all of
Clinton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service following at 8
p.m., in the chapel with Rev. Steve Seiber, Rev. Russell Massengill and Rev.
Chris Thomas officiating. Interment will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Weaver
Moore Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all
arrangements
