Willie Bunch, 87, of Lake City, died Tuesday, March 20, at the St. Mary's
Medical Center in LaFollette. Willie was a member of the Lake City Christian
Fellowship. Bunch was a U.S. Army veteran who served in WWII, The Korean
War, and Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by Wife Martha Jane Daugherty Bunch; parents Tazzel
and Hannah Phillips Bunch; and daughter Willa Dean.
He is survived by daughter Viola Hembree of Caryville and Mary Hembree of
Lake City; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 22, at Cox-Martin Funeral Home
with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Interment was held in the Circle
Cemetery in Briceville.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home in Lake City was in charge of arrangements.
William W. (Bill) Cole, 67, of Dayton, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 21, in
Dayton. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. He was the owner of
All Seasons Pest Control.
He was preceded in death by parents Clyde and Margaret Cole; brother
Marshall Cole.
He is survived by wife Reva Cole; daughters Donna Miller and Lynda Gilmore;
sons Eddie Cole and Rick Cole; brother Bob Cole;13 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 26, in the Chapel of Martin
Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Tapp officiating. Interment was held in
the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Jerry Lawrence Chase, 45, died Wednesday, March 21, in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by father John Warren Chase Jr.
He is survived by children Jerry, Anothony, and Nicole of South Euclid,
Ohio; mother Bobbie Jean Chase of Lake City; brothers John Chase of
LaFollette, and James Chase of Garfield Heights, Ohio; sisters Shirley
Oravetz of Garfield Heights, Ohio, Sandra Gorn of Sagamore Hills, Ohio,
Sharon Manley of Parma, Ohio, Erma Lanum of Bedford, Ohio, and Shelia Skuza,
Aurora, Ohio.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 24, at he Roach Memorial
Chapel with Rev. John Mungar and rev. Wayne Branscom officiating. Interment
was held in the Leach Cemetery, Lake City.
Roach Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Brenda Idles Henegar, 54, of Briceville, died Tuesday, March 20, at the
Methodist Center in Oak Ridge. Henegar was a member of the Briceville Church
of God.
She was preceded in death by husband Newman Henegar; parents Charles "Dilly"
and Ruth Idles; brothers Joey, Robert, and Charles Idles.
She is survived by husband Clyde Burris Jr. of Briceville; daughters Paula
Henegar Parks of Lake City, Bridget Henegar Thomas and Lora Henegar both of
Briceville; and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 21, in the Chapel of
Cox-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Thomas and Rev. Chris Thomas
officiating. Interment was held in the Circle Cemetery in Briceville.

Lassie Hubbard, 94, of 712 East Fir St., LaFollette, died Saturday, March
24, at the LaFollette Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by husband James Robert Hubbard; son Carl Hubbard;
parents Elyee and Mary Fouse Sharp; and 2 granddaughters.
She is survived by sons Charles Hubbard of LaFollette, Paul Hubbard of
Jacksboro, Robert Lee Hubbard of New Ark, Del., Earl Hubbard of Trenton,
Mich., and Edward Hubbard of LaFollette; 27 grandchildren, 32,
great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 27, at Martin Wilson Chapel
with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating. Interment was held in the Kitts
Cemetery.

Kizzie Norris, 69, of Jellico, died Thursday, March 15, at the Jellico
Community Hospital.
She was preceded in death by children Angelo and Angela Hickman; parents
George W. and Cordia Davis Hatfield; and brothers Robert Hatfield and Henry
Lee Hatfield.
She is survived by sons Roger Hatfield of LaFollette, Stevie Hickman of
Jacksboro, Jim Hickman of Anna, Ohio, George Hickman of Sidney, Ohio;
daughter Linda Douglas of Lima, Ohio; brothers Claude Hatfield of Fla.,
Raymond Hatfield of Troy, Ohio, Sid Hatfield and Billy Ray Hatfield both of
Jellico, Jack Hatfield of Williamsburg, Albert Hatfield of Vandalia, Ohio,
Jerry Hatfield of Fairview, Ky.; sisters Gracie Jessie of Augusta, Ga.,
Shelby Kruse and Betty Ausher, both of Jellico, and Edith Horvath of
Williamsburg,; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 18, at the Cox & Son Chapel with
Rev. Andrew Ayers officiating. Interment was held in the Douglas Cemetery.

William Monroe Prim, 86, of Shangi Rd., of LaFollette, died Tuesday, March
20, at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was a WWII
Veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents Issac Monroe and Nanny Monroe; and
brother Irving and Garland Prim.
He is survived by wife Betty Freeman Prim of LaFollette; sons Glen and Roger
Prim both of Lake City; brother Paul (PJ) Prim of LaFollette 5 grandchildren
and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 22, in the Chapel of Martin
Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Darryl Mefford and Rev. Paul Hembree
officiating. Interment was held in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Glenn Edward Riggs, 51. of 101 N 5th St., LaFollette, Tuesday, March 20, at
St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. He was of the Church of God
Faith.
He was preceded in death by father Ernest Riggs; and grandmother.
He is survived by daughters Tracy Ann of LaFollette, Glenda Terialea
Steakley of Speedwell, and Melissa Sanielle Riggs of Duff; brothers Clifford
Riggs of Levenworth, Wash., Ronnie Riggs of Peshastin, Wash., and Darryl
Riggs of LaFollette; sisters Reetia Bowlin , Tonda Weldon, Alta Ayers, Helen
Wells, and Melissa Baker all of LaFollette, Eunich Shuttleworth Kemplin,
Tex., Pat Riggs of Peshastin, Wash.; step-sisters Betty Halcomb of Jellico,
Jill Halcomb, and Nancy James of LaFollette, and Rhonda; and 2
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 23 in the Chapel of Martin
Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Hanford Bolton, Rev. Pat Ayers, and Rev. Mike
Smith officiating. Interment was held in the Bakers Forge Cemetery.

Dock Taylor Stooksbury, 66, died Wednesday, March 21, at the U.T. Medical
Center in Knoxville. He was retired from Bacon & Co. Knoxville.
He is survived by wife Clydia Jones Stooksbury of Knoxville; sons Rory M.
(Butch) Stooksbury of Caryville, Robert Taylor Stooksbury of Elmendorf AFB,
Anchorage, Alaska; sisters Lucy Hovers of Knoxville and Arizona Sowder
Powell of LaFollette; brothers Elvin of Knoxville, and Ogle of Powell; 6
grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 25, at Walters Chapel. Interment
was held in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made
to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 408, LaFollette, Tenn., 37766.

Austin Russell Edward Trammell, 5 months, of the Pioneer community in
Campbell County, died Sunday, March 25, at the St. Mary's Medical Center of
Campbell County.
He is preceded in death by grandfather Paul Leinart.
He is survived by parents Buford and Lois Smith Trammell of Pioneer; sisters
Haley Trammell of Jacksboro, Kristen Tackett of Lake City, and Shannon
Trammell of LaFollette; brother Cody Trammell of Jacksboro; and grandparents
Margie Leinart of Lake City, Elbert and Ruth Trammell of Pioneer, and Patsy
Cox of Maynardville.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 28, at the New Cannan Baptist
Church on Terry Creek in Campbell County with Rev, Asbury Byrd officiating.
Interment was held in the church's cemetery.

Jessie Frost White, 88, of Andy Ridge Rd., in Lake City, died Saturday,
March 24 at his home. He was a retired coal miner from Jack Keener Coal Co.
He was preceded in death by wife Ella Brown White; parents Noah and Lonnie
Duncan White; sons Jessie White Jr., Lawerence White; daughters Bobbie White
and Linda White; brothers Willie Jackson, Noah White, and Coolidge
Patterson; sisters Sis Harness, Maybelle White, Cordelia Ault, and Magalene
White.
He is survived by Noah B. White of Menton, Ohio; daughters Ada Workman,
Adelee Martin, nd Wanda Gordon all of Cleveland, Ohio, and Anna Johnson of
Lake City; brothers Charles White of Oliver Springs and Sammy Patterson of
Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 6
great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 27, at Brown Flatt Community
Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Ward and Rev. Jason McKamey officiating.
Interment was held in the Brown Flatt Community Baptist Church Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to Brown Flatt Community Baptist
Church in honor of Jessie White.
