Campbell County Historical Society plans family book

LaFollette Press:

To all residents of Campbell County: your Campbell County Historical Society is planning to publish a book entitled "Families of Campbell County, Tennessee," in the near future. Those of you who are members of our Society should already know about the project as it was publicized in our April, May and June 1999 Campbell Countian Quarterly which you receive.

We hope all our members will respond. Many already have. However, you do not have to be a member to submit a record of your family to be included in our book. We want all people who have family roots in our county to be included. You may get a copy of our guidelines and rules for submission at the Campbell County Museum. We are open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Other counties who have done this say many who do not submit regret that they didn't get their family roots in and ask, "When will you publish another book?" Don't let that happen to you, don't miss this boat, there might not be another one.

Please submit your records by March 1, 2001.

You may bring them to our museum or send them to: Campbell County Historical Society, 101 S. 6th St., LaFollette, TN., 37766.
