Subject: [TNCAMPBE-L] Roll Call Thompson

My ancestor Andrew Thompson (no dates) was the father of:

1. Perneta "Nita" / "Neatie" Jane Thompson Blankenship (b. May 1856, d.
1936, wife of Henderson "Henry" C. Blankenship).

2. Daniel Thompson (dates unknown) (nothing else known about him).

Andrew's wife was reportedly Nancy [Risner/Risden/Roysden?] (b. unknown,
d. poss. 1918). (See separate message sent to list regarding Nancy).
Nancy and Andrew are both reportedly buried in the Proctor (?) Cemetery,
just over the Kentucky border in Whitley County, KY (through Proctor
Hollow) from Jellico, Campbell County, TN. This has not been confirmed.

The Andrew aged 12 in the following record may POSSIBLY be my Andrew
Thompson, but this is just a guess:

>> In 1850 Scott Co., TN census
>>
>> #31 THOMPSON, Harmon 54 b. VA m. 1814
>> Nancy 52
>> Harmon 22 b. TN
>> Jonathan 16
>> Andrew 12
>> Lorens 10 (m)

If this is the correct Andrew Thompson, he would have been about 18 years
old at the time of his daughter Neetie's birth in 1856

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestion on ironing out the
details on this Thompson family.

Thanks!
John
