MEADOWS, MRS. WILMA V. - age 79, of Wheeler Lane, LaFollette, passed away
Sunday morning, January 21, 2001, at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge,
Tenn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Edward Meadows. She is survived by two sisters, Zona
Reese of Baltimore, Md., and Billie Sparks of Jacksboro; special niece and
husband, Sherma and Butch Elliot of Knoxville, and special little friend,
Molly. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 23, from 6:30-8 p.m.
at First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. with
Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Interment will be at Crest Lawn Cemetery in
Baltimore, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family request, donations be made to
the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. Roach Funeral Home, in charge of
arrangements.

PARROTT, BILL E. - age 57, of Morristown, Tenn., passed away early Saturday
morning, January 20, 2001, at Morristown Hamblen Health System Hospital. He
was formerly employed by McCall Corporation and Kimberly Clark. Mr. Parrott
was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Talbott, Tenn. Preceded in
death by father, Charlie Parrott and sister, Shirley Marlow. Survivors: wife,
Judy Davis Parrott of Morristown; mother, Viola Parrott of LaFollette, Tenn.;
brothers, Charles Parrott of Powell, Tenn., and R. L. Parrott of Bellvue,
Ky., Arvil Parrott of Newport, Ky., and Ken Parrott of Dayton, Ohio; sisters,
Jackie Waldroop of Lawrence, Ky., Janice Osborne of Englewood, Ohio, Judy
Davis of Clarfield, Tenn., and Kathy Rogers of LaFollette, Tenn.;
mother-in-law, Freeda Davis of Duff, Tenn. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Tuesday,
January 23, at Cross Chapel, LaFollette, Dr. Larry Parrott officiating.
Interment in Oddfellows Cemetery, White Oak. The family will receive friends
5-9 p.m. Monday, January 22, at Cross Funeral Home. The family requests,
instead of flowers, memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association,
Tenn. Affiliate Inc., 4205 Hillsboro Rd., Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215 or
Pleasant View Baptist Building Fund, 1464 Lakeshore Rd., Talbott, TN 37877.
