BARKER, CRITTENDEN AUBURN "CRIT", JR. - died at his home in Oak Ridge,
Friday, January 19, 2001 at 1 p.m. Mr. Barker was born in Benham, Ky. to
Crittenden and Melva Barker, who are deceased. In 1943 he moved to Oak Ridge
as a Tennessee Eastman employee. At the time of his retirement in 1983, he
was a cost engineer with Rust Engineering Company in Oak Ridge. He was a
member of Central Baptist Church, the American Assoc. of Cost Engineers, and
the Masonic Lodge in Loudon, Tenn. He enjoyed playing golf for many years and
was an avid football fan. Survivors include; wife, Doris Barker, Oak Ridge;
children, Pamela Barker, St. Augustine, Fla., Debora Lisenbee, Knoxville,
Sheree Black, Joy Grubb and husband, Scott, Oak Ridge, Bart Black and wife,
Kim, Maryville; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters in law,
Mildred Joyce Barker, Oak Ridge. Mildred Barker Kingsport; nephews, Robert
Burton Barker and wife, Edith, Bill Jack Barker and wife, Debbie, Oak Ridge,
Jim Maxwell, Smith's Grove, Ky.; niece, Linda Barker, Oak Ridge. The funeral
service will be held in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary on Monday, January
22, 7 p.m. with Rev. David McPherson and Rev. Bob Gray officiating. Graveside
service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial
Park. The family will receive friends Monday, January 22, 5:30-7 p.m. at
Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.

CARROLL, LINDA - age 56 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2001,
at Mariner Healthcare Center. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by parents, Lonzo and Cleo Grissom; husbands, Joe Carroll
and David Rush. Survived by daughters, Cindy Oglesby of Corryton and Dawn Dye
of Mississippi; son, David Rush of Dandridge; granddaughter, Samantha
Cutshaw; sisters, Barbara Hooks, Martha Suffridge, Sue Smith of Kentucky,
Lois Tyree and Janice Lamb; brothers, Theo Coppock, Darrell Pendergrass,
Michael and Lonnie King of Kentucky, and Mike Grissom. Family and friends
will meet at New Loyston Memorial Gardens 11 a.m. Tuesday for a graveside
service. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mynatt's.

EVANS, HELEN LOUISE ADKINS - age 49 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, January
19, 2001 at St. Mary's Health System Knoxville. She was a member of High
Street Baptist Church LaFollette. Preceded in death by parents Namon Levi and
Pearl Byrge Adkins. Survivors: son, Jonathan Alexander Evans; grandsons, Ryan
and Jonathan Jr. Evans, all of LaFollette; granddaughter, Sara Evans,
LaFollette; brothers, Harry Lee Brown, James Adkins, and Louis Adkins all of
LaFollette and Thomas Adkins of Mt. Vernon, Ky.; sisters, Mary Heatherly,
Jacksboro and Ruby Adkins of LaFollette; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday January 21, 2001 at Cross Chapel. Rev. Randall
Healtherly and Rev. Jerry Woods officiating. Interment 12 noon Monday,
January 22, 2001 Bakers Forge Cemetery LaFollette. Family will receive
friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday prior to service. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home
LaFollette.

RHYNE, LOUISE - age 54 of Clinton, formerly of Heiskell, departed this life
January 20, 2001. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church Clinton. Preceded
in death by parents, Miles W. & Violet Rhyne & nephew, Chris Johnson.
Survived by sister & brothers in law, Patricia & Everett Johnson of
Knoxville, Delores Neal Reed & Jack of Powell, Denise & Jeff Barlow of Halls;
brothers & sisters in law, M.W. & Susan Rhyne of Heiskell, Duane & Carole
Rhyne of Karns, Staley & Sandy Rhyne of Knoxville; special nephew, Seth
Rhyne; several other nieces & nephews; step mother, Edith Rhyne of Powell.
Fuenral service 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.
Reverends Larry Woods & Troy Keaton presiding. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers,
contributions may be sent to Rhyne Scholarship Fund, c/o God's Bible School,
1819 Young St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45210. The family will receive friends
6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.
