DAVIS, PAUL GORDON - age 75, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, November 29, 2000,
at his home. Veteran of WW II, serving with the U.S. Navy. Retired from Oak
Ridge Associated Universities in 1983, where he was a Placement Officer in
Training and Technoloby. He was of the Methodist faith. He and his wife, Mary
Sue Kenner Davis, who survives him, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary
on September 2, 1999. In addition to his wife, he is survived by brother,
John Phillip Davis and wife Ozell of Athens, Ala., and by a very special
friend, Allison Casalenuovo of Oak Ridge. Funeral services are Thursday,
November 30, 2000, at 8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Robert K.
Martin officiating. Graveside services are Friday, December 1, 2000, at 1
p.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Chaplain John Shaw officiating.
Memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 700 S. Illinois Avenue, Suite
#A-202, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The family will receive friends Thursday from
7-8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.
JOHNSON, LUCY - age 80, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2000
at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville. She was retired from Union
Planters Bank in Clinton and later worked at Anderson County Bank. She was a
member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton. Preceded in death by
her husband, Frank T. Johnson Jr.; parents, Edward Leland & Ila Morgan Young.
Survivors include; daughter, Jennifer Ann Harrill and husband, Michael of
Knoxville; son, Frank T. Johnson III and wife, Susan Williams of Roundrock,
TX; grandchildren, Frank T. Johnson IV of Bristol, Tenn., Jennifer Nicole
Johnson of Bristol, Tenn., Christie Harrill of Knoxville, Colin Harrill of
Knoxville; great grandson, Morgan Johnson. Funeral service will be 2 p.m.
Friday December 1, 2000 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the
Rev. Don Thomas officiating. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Friday at
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery.
