I am new to this list and trying to do research on husbands side of family.
His father was Lawrence Andrew Hale Born 3-26-1913 Died 5-5-1942 in a mining accident near Jellico. I believe only three died that day and 9 or ten were saved. Kyle was only 6 mo old at the time.
My question is this. Where would I go about finding any newspaper articles on this?
