Seeking information on WILLIAM SHELTON b abt 1772 NC d aft 1860 Campbell
Co, TN. William was listed in the 1830, 1840, 1850 Anderson Co TN Census
Records & 1860 Campbell Co TN Census Records, wife unk. I believe, no proof,
WILLIAM SHELTON'S father was PALATIAH SHELTON, b 1735, Essex, VA & d Bef.
April 1807, Knox Co, TN. PALATIAH was married to MARY HARBOUR. One of the
children of WILLLIAM SHELTON, I believe was SKIRVING SHELTON b abt 1795
NC & d Bet. 1830 - 1840 Anderson Co, TN m May 16, 1817, Knox Co, TN to
MARGARET "PEGGY" ROBERTS b Bet. 1795 - 1798, VA, d Aft. 1870, Anderson
Co, TN. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
