HOLSCLAW, MARGARET INDIA GRAHAM, - of Jefferson City, and formerly of Norris,
Tennessee, passed away suddenly on July 12, 2000. She was preceded in death
by her good and true husband, James L. Holsclaw; sister, Ruth Graham Wolfe;
and brothers, Frank Graham and Ted Graham. She sported unusually good health
almost all her life enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a
passion. With us more than 90 sweet, selfless years, she was a grand southern
lady and "pyert" and sassy to the end. Granmommie possessed an inner strength
and consumate grace that carried her through a beautiful life of servanthood.
She will always be a part of those who survive her: son, William Graham
Holsclaw; daughter, Peggy Holsclaw Welch; grandchildren, Shannon, Graham,
Lisa, and Shawn; and great-grandchildren, Bran, Eli, Wyndie, Ian and Colin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning, July 14, 2000,
from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with Dr. William
Johnson and Dr. Moncrief Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in
Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until
11:00 a.m. Friday prior to services at the funeral home. Arrangements by
Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City
