HACKLER, EDGAR "ED" - age 87, of Norris, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2000,
at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. He was a charter member of Norris United
Methodist Church. He worked for T.V.A. for several years before getting into
the insurance business. He worked for over 30 years as an insurance agent for
Liberty National Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Andersonville
Valley Masonic Lodge #383. Preceded in death by wife, Pauline Hackler;
parents, James & Alice Hedrick Hackler. Born Dec. 10, 1912 in Meadow View,
Va. Survivors: sons, Dean & Rita Hackler of Norris, Bob & Linda Hackler of
Clinton, Ron & Pat Hackler of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Scott Hackler,
Kim Zachman, Pam Bonee, Lori Collins, Rob Hackler, Kristin Hackler; 8 great
grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends
7-9 p.m. Saturday June 10, 2000 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton,
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Norris United Methodist Church
with Rev. Catherine Nance & Rev. Henry Lenoir officiating. Interment will
follow at Norris Memorial Gardens. Memorial may be made to Norris United
Methodist Church. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all
arrangements.

ROBBINS, DENNIS PERRY, - age 37, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, June 8,
2000, at 4 a.m., at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was
employed by Methodist Medical Center as a surgery technician. He was a member
of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clinton. Born December 4, 1962, in
Torrance, California. Survivors: wife of 15 years, Teresa Robbins of Clinton;
daughter, Miranda Robbins of Clinton; father & mother, William G. "Bill" &
Janice S. Robbins of Oak Ridge; mother-in-law, Roma Disney of Clinton;
brothers, Dean Robbins and family of Knoxville, Derek Robbins of Oak Ridge;
sisters, Sheila McLemore & family of Clinton, Connie Cruze & family of Oak
Ridge; grandmothers, Thelma Burgess & Irene Robbins & Dixie White;
sister-in-law, Lisa Stone & husband, Jason of Clinton; brother-in-law, Randy
Disney of Clinton; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friend's
6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in
Clinton with funeral service following at 8:00 p.m., in the chapel with Rev.
David Haynes & Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Interment will be held at 12:30
p.m., Sunday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dutch Valley.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in charge of all arrangements.

SNODDERLY, MR. WALTER C. - age 80 of LaFollette, passed away Wednesday, June
7, 2000 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was preceded in death by
parents, Odis and Liza Snodderly. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Charlie Snodderly, of
LaFollette; sons, Joe Snodderly of LaFollette, and Charles Snodderly of
Jacksboro; daughters, Shirley Gillum of LaFollette; six grandchildren and six
great grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. Funeral services
Friday June 9, 2000 at 8 p.m. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Casewell Barnes,
Rev. Ralph Cordell, and Kenny Gillum officiating. The family will receive
friends Friday 6-8 p.m. before funeral services at Walters Funeral Home.
Family and friends will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday morning at Woodlawn Cemetery
for interment. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made
to the following church building funds: New Horizon Baptist Church, P.O. Box
270, LaFollette, Tenn. 37766 or High Knob Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1715,
LaFollette, Tenn. 37766. Walters Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
