Hello Everyone,
Here is what's new in Campbell County TNGenWeb:
The 1860 Mortality Schedule is online. It was typed by Maria Edwards.
(Thanks Maria). The 1850 and 1880 Mortality Schedules, along with the 1850
Slave Schedules, will be online sometime soon.
The "Declaration of Grievances Adopted at the Greeneville Convention" was
transcribed and contributed by Darrell H. Jackson. (Thanks Darrell).
The new interactive cemetery database is now online. Right now, it is empty.
If you have ancestors buried in Campbell County, I hope that you will take
the time to enter the information from their tombstones into the database.
The picture at the top of the cemetery page is of the Indian Creek Cemetery
in Jacksboro. My sister-in-law took me out there in April so that I could
take a picture. Good thing that she did not get mad at me and put me out of
the car out there. I'd still be hunting my way back to civilization. <g>
There is no way on "God's green earth" that I could ever find my way back to
that cemetery alone!!
All these new items are linked from the "What's New" Section on the main
Campbell County page at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~tncampbe/
Happy Hunting,
Mitzi
