FERGUSON, KENNETH - age 73, of Tazewell, was born Nov. 11, 1926, passed away
on April 11, 2000 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired merchant and a veteran of the United States Army. Preceded
in death by his parents, Marion & Lennie Ferguson. Survived by wife, Mrs.
Pauline (Eldridge) Ferguson of Tazewell; son, Kenneth of Alcoa; son &
daughter-in-law, Randall & Brenda of Tazewell; daughters & sons-in-law,
Yvonne & Douglas Mustard of Tazewell, Melinda & Gregory Janeway of Rex, Ga.;
stepchildren, Vicki & Craig Johnson of Seymour, Ind., Dean Duncan of
Knoxville; grandchildren, Scott Ferguson, Keri Ferguson, Heather Mustard,
Felicia Janeway, Beth Johnson, Lindsay Duncan; brother & sister-in-law, James
& Billie Ferguson of Tazewell, Ruby Bailey of Tazewell; sister &
brother-in-law, Berylene & Edward Owings of Rockwood. Funeral services 10
a.m. Friday April 14, 2000 Coffey F.H. Chapel-Tazewell. Interment: Irish
Cemetery. Family receiving friends 6-9 p.m. Thurs. Coffey Tazewell. Rev.
Jakie Cunningham and Rev. Paul Janeway officiating. Singer: Chittum Chapel
Singers. Pallbearers: Scott Ferguson, Craig Johnson, Tip Eldridge, Rowe
Eldridge, Douglas Mustard, Gregory Janeway. Honorary pallbearers: Doyle
Eldridge, Davis Greer, Ed Hardin III. Coffey Funeral Home in charge.
WARD, JOSEPHINE - age 87 of Oak Ridge passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2000,
at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of First United Methodist
Church of Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by parents, Linzey Albert and Grace
Elizabeth Redmond Forshey; son, John Linzey Ward; sister. Louise Estelle Taw.
Survivors include husband, of 58 years, Charles A. Ward; daughter, Janet
Neuhoff, Tiffany Neufoff, Nichole Arons; great grandchildren, Stacie Marie
Parton, Dakota Wayne Trent, Billy Ray Trent, Jr., Austin Lee Morgan; sisters,
Ruth Dietterick and Dorothy Marilyn Waldron; brother, Wilbert Andrew Forshey;
and several nieces and nephews. Funeral and interment services will be held
in Strongsville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held locally at a date to
be announced later. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Red
Bird Mission, HC 69 Box 700, Beverly, Kentucky 40913. Local arrangements by
Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, Tenn.
