SAM H. AGEE, 84, of Lebanon, Tennessee, died Saturday, March 18 at the
University Medical Center. He was an agriculture teacher at Coal Creek High
School in 1939, Lake City High School during the 1940s, and Cheatham County.
Mr. Agee served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, and was a
graduate of University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He was a lifelong farmer.
He was preceded in death by; wife, Lucille Brock Agee; parents, Arch and
Doanie Williams Agee. Funeral services were held Monday, March 20 in the
Ligow & Bobo Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Miller officiating.
Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
IDA P. BROOKS, 81, of Elk Valley, died Monday, April 3 at Jellico Community
Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4 at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Jerry Yancey and Rev. J. H. Douglas officiating. Interment followed
Wednesday, April 5 in Valley View Cemetery.
WHEELER CANNON, 68, of Maryville, died Sunday, March 26 at Blount Memorial
Hospital. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death
by; parents, Reuben Craig and Paralee Collins Cannon; wife, Mary Etta Long
Cannon. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 30 in
McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Darrell Millsaps officiating.
Interment followed graveside service Friday, March 31 in Salem Baptist Church
Cemetery.
Howard Goins, 76, of LaFollette, died Saturday, April 1 at Baptist Hospital
of East Tennessee. Survivors include; wife, Satra Goins. Funeral services
were held Wednesday, April 5 at Cross Funeral Home Chapel with Ovid Bolton
officiating. Interment followed in Beeler Cemetery, Speedwell.
LOIS ANN GREEN, 35, of Pioneer, died Saturday, March 25 at Scott County
Hospital in Oneida.
She was preceded in death by; parents, George and Flonnie Botts. Funeral
services were held Tuesday, March 28 at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Jerry Yancey officiating. Interment followed Wednesday, March 29 in Baird
Cemetery, Elk Valley.
SUE CAROLINE HENEGAR, 77, of LaFollette, died Thursday March 30 at Methodist
Medical Center, Oak Ridge. Survivors include; husband, J. C. Henegar of
LaFollette. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1 at LaFollette United
Methodist Church with Rev. Don Thomas officiating. Interment followed in
Woodlawn Cemetery.
CHARLES "Chuck" MCCULLEY, 49, of LaFollette, died Sunday, March 26 at
University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a U. S. Army
veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by; adoptive parents, Alex and Maggie McCulley.
Survivors include; wife, Mary "Susie" Boshears McCulley; mother, Aileen
Stewart of Alabama. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 28 in Martin
Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.T. Asbury and Rev. Steve Bruce
officiating. Interment followed Wednesday, March 29 in Pond Cemetery with
full Military Honors by Campbell County Honor Guard.
DIXIE RUE MELTON, 69, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Monday, April 3 at
Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was preceded in death by; husband, James
C. Melton. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 5 at Trinity United
Methodist Church with Rev. John Casey officiating. Interment followed in

EDNA PAULINE HENSON MOBERG , 86, of LaFollette, died Saturday, April 1 at
LaFollette Medical Center. She was preceded in death by; husband, Arthur
Moberg. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4 at Cross Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. don Allen officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn
Cemetery.
CARMON FRANKLIN RAMSEY, 58, of Cookeville, died Wednesday, March 29 at
Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He is survived by; wife, Faye Ramsey.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1 at Whitson Funeral Home Chapel
with Brother Roger Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Dodson Branch
Cemetery.
Rev. HASKEL RAY, 67, of LaFollette, died Wednesday, March 29 at LaFollette
Medical Center. He was a member of LaFollette Masonic Lodge #623, F. & A.M.,
and a member of Campbell County Industrial Board. Rev. Ray was a U.S Army
veteran, and Building Inspector for the Campbell County School System, Phase
1. He was preceded in death by; parents, James Northcross and Hattie Ray.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 1 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church
with Rev. Delmus Bruce and Rev. Lynn Ray officiating. Masonic rights
conducted by LaFollette Masonic Lodge #623 F. & A. M. were held Friday, March
31 at Walters Funeral Home. Interment in Hall Cemetery with military honors
conducted by Campbell County Honor Guard.
Hester Ann Hatmaker Walden, 88, of Orlando, Florida, died Friday, March 31 at
Winter Park Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by; husband, Cecil
S. Walden; parents, Mack and Emma Smiddy Hatmaker. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, April 4 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmus Bruce
and Rev. J. C. Bruce officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Walter Lee Walden, 75, of Jacksboro, died Saturday, April 1 at his home. He
was a veteran of WWII.He was preceded in death by; parents, George and Daisy
Walls Walden. Survivors include; wife, Bethel Walden. Funeral services were
held Tuesday, April 4 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles
Lovely , Rev. Michael Franklin, and Rev. Andrew Ayers officiating. Interment
followed in Peabody Cemetery.
WILMA WELCH, 71, of Jacksboro, died Monday, April 3 at Methodist Medical
Center in Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by; husband, Tommy Welch.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 5 at Kingdom Hall in LaFollette.
Interment followed in Bakers Forge Cemetery.
LORAN WHITE, 88, of Fratersville, died Tuesday, April 4 at the Windwood
Health Care Center in Clinton. He was a member of the Crystal Lodge #616
F&AM. Mr. White was retired from TVA, and an army veteran of WWII. He was
preceded in death by; parents, John Calvin and Bebe White. Funeral services
were held Wednesday, April 5 at Cox Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don
Martin and Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Interment will follow today
(Thursday), April 6 at 11 a.m. with full Military Honors in Leach Cemetery.
CLARENCE C. "C. C. W." "Tennessee" WILLIAMSON, 71, of Davenport, Iowa, died .
Mr. Williamson was employed by Oak Ridge Atomic Energy Comm. in Oak Ridge for
two years, Oscar Mayer in Davenport for 33 years as a meatcutter, and he
worked for the City of Davenport, Park Board Division after his retirement.
He was preceded in death by; parents, Horace Maynard and Grace Ayers
Williamson. Funeral services were held Monday, April 3 at Runge Mortuary and
Crematory. Interment followed in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
