GERALDINE CAIN Cain, 70, of Sidney, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 22 at her
home. She was preceded in death by; parents, Harvey Lee and Alliefair
Chadwell Huddleston. Funeral services were held Friday, February 25 at Cromes
Funeral Home. Interment followed in Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
ELIZABETH CHADWELL, 84, of Strawberry Plains, formerly of LaFollette, died
Saturday, February 26 at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. She
was preceded in death by; husband, John Clearance Chadwell. Funeral services
were held Wednesday, March 1 at Roach Mortuary Memorial Chapel with Rev.
David Hicks officiating. Interment followed in Leach Cemetery.
BPBBIE HODGE GIBSON, 70, of LaFollette, died Monday, February 28 at
University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was preceded in
death by; parents, Roosevelt and Ruby Hodge. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, February 29 at Cross Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Caswell Barnes
officiating. Interment followed Wednesday, March 1 in Campbell Memorial
Gardens.
JAMES LAMAR MOORE, 52, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Tuesday, February 15 at his
home. He was an avid Alaskan Sled Dog racer, a longtime member of Arizona
Mountain Mushers, and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by;
parents, Kenneth Hunt and Margaret Agee Moore. Survivors include; wife,
Laurie Moore. There will be a memorial service in Phoenix on a date to be
announced. Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his
memory to American Cancer Society, or First Baptist Church in LaFollette.
NANNIE PREWITT, 93, of Lot, Kentucky, died Sunday, February 27 at the
Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by; husband,
Jerry Prewitt; parents, Col. William and Lillie Parrott Butler. Funeral
services were held Tuesday, February 29 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Lester Cox officiating. Interment followed Wednesday, March 1 in
Lot, Kentucky.
LINDA SUE SELVEY, 54, of Baxter, Kentucky, died Monday, February 21 in
Harlan, Kentucky. She is survived by; parents, Taylor "Red" and Jean Halburnt
of Harlan, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held graveside today
(Thursday), March 2 with Rev. Billy Boyd Bingham officiating, with interment
following in Bakers Forge Cemetery. Rich Funeral Home of Harlan, Kentucky in
charge of arrangements.
LESLIE WARD, 40, of West Central Avenue, LaFollette, died Thursday, February
24 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was of the Catholic faith. He was
preceded in death by; parents, Robert Paris Ward and Katie Kennedy Ward
Phillips. Funeral services were held Monday, February 28 at the Martin Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Reese officiating. Interment followed in
Beech Fork Cemetery.
LEATER WARD, 35, of LaFollette, died Sunday, February 27 at LaFollette
Medical Center. He was preceded in death by; parents, Robert Paris and Katie
Kennedy Ward. Funeral services were held Monday, February 28 at Martin Wilson
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Reece officiating. Interment followed in
Beech Fork Cemetery.
JAMES D. "Jack" WILLIAMS, 79, of Aiken, South Carolina, formerly of
LaFollette, died Tuesday, February 29. He was a Veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by; parents, Herbert and Bessie Robbins Williams.
Survivors include; wife, Addie Allen Williams. Funeral services will be held
graveside today (Thursday), March 2 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Reynolds
officiating, followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
