NEAL, EMMA BYRD - age 91, of Oak Ridge, died at home on Sat. 11-13-99. A
resident of Oak Ridge since 1947. Emma, who was affectionately known to her
family as "Mimi", was a mother and homemaker who was skilled at quilting,
crocheting, knitting, growing flowers, and cooking. She is lovingly
remembered by her family and friends as a generous and hospitable woman. A
long-time member of Central Baptist Church, Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by
husband, Herbert Neal. Survivors include, daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lee, of
Oak Ridge, Mrs. Bobbie Davis of Zellwood, Fla., Mrs. Genny Leonhardt of
Caryville; sister, Opal Love of Maryville; grandchildren, Beth Lee Palmer of
Oak Ridge, Scott Lee of Knoxville; Lori Byrne of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cindy
Bryant of Kenai, Alaska; great-grandchildren, Peyton & Preston Palmer, Tanner
Lee, Sean & Ryan Byrne. Funeral service will be held on Tues., Nov. 16, 8pm.
in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Lauri Jo Crawford
officiating. Graveside service will be Wed., Nov. 17, 1999, 1pm. at Anderson
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tues. evening, 6-8pm. at
Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.

TEAGUE, CRAIG G. - age 83, of Jellico, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at
the Jellico Community Hospital. He was a retired coal miner and WWII veteran
of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by son, Steve Teague, parents, Callie &
Mattie Jones Teague; brothers, Jerome Teague, Emmet Teague, & Quentin Teague.
Survived by wife, Pruda Teague of Jellico; son, Robert Shann Teague & wife,
Ann of Jacksboro; granddaughter, Carrie Teague of Jacksboro; sister, Grace
Teague Brown of Jellico; sister-in-law, Mary Teague of Dayton, Ohio; several
nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Cox & Son Chapel,
Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, from 5-8 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 8
p.m. with Rev. Ellis Hopkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1
p.m. Wednesday, at the Jellico Cemetery for graveside service will interment.
Cox & Son Funeral Home in charge.

WILSON, CHARLES E. - age 86, of 307 East Hemlock St., LaFollette, passed away
Sat., Nov. 13, 1999 at the LaFollette Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was a member
of Indiana Ave. Baptist Church & a veteran of WWII & member of the DAV
chapter 105 LaFollette. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Helen
Lay Wilson; parents, Israel & Ella Allen Wilson; 3 brothers, Elmer, Harvey, &
Claiborne Wilson. Survived by son & daughter-in-law, Larry E. and Marsha
Wilson of Cary, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Ella Jean & T.R. Rollyson of
LaFollette; grandson, Timothy Scott Wilson of LaFollette; sister, Ruby Wilcox
of Knoxville; several step-grandchildren & great grand children; niece, Janet
Vaughn of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews; & a host of other relatives
and friends. Funeral services 8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Martin Funeral
Home with Rev J.L. Shoun & Rev. Ova Simpson officiating. Interment will be
Tues. 11am. Nov. 16, 1999 in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will
receive friends 6-8pm. Mon. before services. Martin Funeral Home in
LaFollette in charge of arrangements.
