KENNETH VINCENT "KV" BRANDENBURG, 60, of the Pittman Center Community of
Sevierville, died Wednesday, November 3 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical
Center in Knoxville. He was retired from the United States Navy and worked
for the city of Gatlinburg. Mr. Brandenburg was preceded in death by;
parents, Edd and Rutha Brandenburg. Survivors include; wife, Sherry Franklin
Brandenburg. Cremation services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity. Arrangements
by Atchley Funeral Home of Sevierville.

LEEDLE CARROLL , 60, of Salem, Virginia, formerly of Shrewbury, New Jersey,
died Thursday, November 4. She was a 1957 graduate of Lake City High School,
and was retired from the Civil Service Department of the United States Army.
Ms. Carroll was preceded in death by; parents, Wayne and Polly Carroll.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 7 at Free Communion Church,
Charley's Branch, Tennessee. Interment followed in Phillips Cemetery,
Rosedale, Tennessee. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good
Samaritan Hospice or the MDA. Local arrangements handled by Lotz Salem
Chapel. Cox-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

ADA M. FARRIS, 85, of Jellico, died Sunday, October 31 at University of
Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death b; parents, Frank and Maggie Stephens Greenlee;
husband, John Farris. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 6 at the
Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome Walden officiating. Interment
followed in the Greenwood Cemetery, Jellico.

RALPH E. "Dean" GOINS, 69, died Tuesday, November 9 at Wilson Memorial
Hospital in Sidney, Ohio. He was preceded in death by; parents, Thed and
Phoebe Goins. Survivors include; wife, Nellie Ford Goins. Funeral services
will be held today (Thursday) , November 11 at Sidney Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Cedar Point Cemetery. Cromes Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.

ROY GOTHARD, 83, of Habersham, died Monday, November 1 at the family
residence. He was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in death by; parents,
Thomas Jefferson and Matilda Freels Gothard; wife, Thelma Mae Branam. Funeral
services were held Wednesday, November 3 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev, Donald Allen, Rev. Bill Gaylor, and Rev. Clyde Davis officiating.
interment followed in the Odd Fellow Cemetery.

CHARLES TODD JERRRI3ES, 22, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of LaFollette, died
Tuesday, November 2. Survivors include; parents, Thomas L. and Alma Wright
Jeffries of Hamilton, Ohio; grandfather, Charles F. Jeffries of Jacksboro.
Funeral services were held at Kowalk Funeral Home-Rose Hill Chapel in
Hamilton on Saturday, November 6. Interment followed in Rose Hill Burial
Park.

BERTIE ALLEN LAY, 71, of Jacksboro, died Friday, November 5 at Methodist
Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by; first husband; Rev. Walter Allen; parents, Ben
and Mary Pike Overbay. Survivors include; husband, Ovia Lay. Funeral services
were held Sunday, November 7 in Cross Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy
Reece, Rev. Don Allen, and Rev. Robert Adkins officiating. Interment followed
Monday, November 8 in Queener Cemetery, Caryville.

LOREN L. LAY, 86, of Pioneer, died Tuesday, November 2 at the LaFollette
Nursing Home. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, and he
received the European African middle Eastern Service Medal with 4 Bronze
Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Lay was preceded in death by; parents,
Lorenzo and Julia Ann Freels Lay. Survivors include; wife, Maggie Lay.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 5 in Martin Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Asbury Byrd officiating. Interment followed Saturday, November 6 in
Warren Memorial Gardens with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of
graveside services.

GLADYS LOWE, 76, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, died Tuesday, November 2 at St.
Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the UAW, and retired from Chrysler
Corporation. She was preceded in death by; husband, Arnold Lowe; parents,
William and Ella York Lay. Funeral services were held Friday, November 5 in
Martin's Funeral Home Chapel, LaFollette with Rev. Asbury Byrd officiating.
Interment followed in Valley View Cemetery.

ERVIN PATTERSON, 74, of LaFollette, died Monday, November 8 at the Methodist
Medical Center. He was a member of the UMWA, a member of the Black Diamond
Lodge #0625, and a member of the Eastern Star Sunrise #364. He was an Army
veteran of World War II. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by; parents,
Nickey and Cora Patterson. He is survived by; wife, Bernice Phillips
Patterson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 12 in The
Cox-Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edwin Phillips, Rev. Don
Daugherty, Rev. Bob Rose, and Rev. Ralph Wilson officiating. Interment will
follow in the Anderson Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.

RAY HASKEL SNOW, 84, of Lake City, died Monday, November 8 at the Lake City
Health Care Center.
Mr. Snow was preceded in death by; parents, Walter and Nina Snow; wife, Marie
Perry Snow. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 9 in the Cox-Martin
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Teague officiating. Interment followed
Wednesday, November 10 in the Sunset Cemetery.

JERRY G. STRONG, 48, of LaFollette, died Thursday, November 4 at his home. He
was preceded in death by; parents, George and Ruth Patterson Strong.
Survivors include; grandmother, Edith Strong of Lake City. Funeral services
were held Saturday, November 6 in Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Steven
Law and Bro. Carl Bradshaw officiating. Interment followed in Leach Cemetery.
