GHEEN, WARREN - age 48, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wed. November 10, 1999 at
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Preceded in death by parents, William Douglas & Mabel Lillian Reynolds Gheen.
Survived by: brothers, James Gheen of Knoxville and William Gheen of
Titusville, Fla. Family and friends will meet at Edgewood Cemetery Fri. at
12:45 p.m. for a 1 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Roland Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thur. at Rose Mortuary Broadway
Chapel.

MAXWELL, Q. DONALD - age 73, of Oak Ridge, died on Nov. 10, 1999 of cancer at
the Methodist Medical Center. Member of First Baptist Church, Oak Ridge.
Active civic leader and banker for many years in Oak Ridge. Survivors
include: wife of 50 years, Betty Thompson Maxwell of Oak Ridge; daughters,
Karen Monson of Spartanburg, S.C., Donna Sullivan and husband Tom of Oak
Ridge, Becky Gipson and husband, Corey, of Fort Bragg, N.C.; grandchildren,
Matthew and Andrew Monson, Katie Sullivan, Patrick, Megan, and Ryan Gipson; 2
brothers and 1 sister and their spouses; several nieces and nephews. Funeral
service will be at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Dipboye
officiating on Fri., November 12, 1999, 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to First
Baptist Church, 1101 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 or to the Q.
Donald Maxwell Scholarship Fund, Newberry College, 2100 College St. Newberry,
S.C. 29108. Graveside service wil be on Sat., 10 a.m. at Anderson Memorial
Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Fri. at First
Baptist Church, Oak Ridge. Weatherford Mortuary handling arrangements.

MUENZER, DOROTHY - formerly of Oak Ridge, died Sunday, November 7, in Chapel
Hill, NC following a brief illness. She was 88. Her husband, Walter J.
Muenzer, preceded her in death. Survivors include daughter Ellie Tucker and
husband, Lanny of Chapel Hill, NC.; son, Ron Muenzer and wife Verda of Oak
Ridge; son, Bill Muenzer and Wife Shelia of Knoxville; eight grandchildren
and one great grandchild. Private burial will be at the Oak Ridge Memorial
Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lisa Tucker
Memorial Scholarship Fund, ASU Foundation, P.O. Box 32064, Boone, NC. 28608.

TENNYSON, JESSE - age 85, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at the
Methodist Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1914 in Tallahatchie County,
Miss., to parents Will and Callie Little Tennyson, who are both deceased. Mr.
Tennyson served in the Navy aboard the Heavy Cruiser the USS Salt Lake City
in WWII. Retried from Union Carbide Corp/K-25 as a Chemical Operator in 1979.
He enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of Oak Ridge High School Wildcat
Football, attending games for more than 50 years. He is survived by: wife of
52 years, Wilma Martin Tennyson; sons, Terry Tennyson and wife Ruth Anne of
Union City, Paul Tennyson of Knoxville; grandchildren, Teresa Tennyson of
Columbus, Ohio, John Tennyson of Union City, and Jesse Tennyson of Union
City. Funeral services are Thursday, November 11, 1999 at 8:00 p.m. at
Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. David McPherson and Rev. Bob Gray officiating.
Graveside services are Friday, November 12, 1999 at 10 a.m. at Oak Ridge
Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 1999
from 6-8 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary.
