ARCHER, ANDREW CLARENCE, JR.-age 43 of Briceville, passed away November 1,
1999 in Knoxville. Mr. Archer was a member of the Jarigan Chapel Baptist
Church. Born May 27, 1956 in Florence, Ohio to Andrew Clarence and Dorla
Thompson Archer by whom he is survived. Mr. Archer was employed by The Rogers
Group. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survived by: wife, Sheila Seiber
Archer of Briceville; son, Robert Scott Archer of Briceville; daughter,
Jessica and Patricia Archer of Briceville; brothers, Steven Archer of
Caldwell, Ohio, Jeff and wife, Sarah Archer of Caldwell, Ohio; sisters,
Deborah and husband, Shawn Neff of Caldwell, Ohio, Sharon and husband, Steve
Moonney of Caldwell, Ohio; father & mother in law, Robert and Ellen Kelley of
Briceville; brother & sister in law, Harold and Debra Kelley of Oliver
Springs; sister & brother in law, Cheryl and Marvin Seiber of Waleska, Ga.;
nieces and nephews, Brooke, Lesley, Alex, Kelly, Kendra, Stacy, Stephanie,
Troy, Michael, Adam, Austin, Dakota, Travis, and Jammie. Funeral services
will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Graves Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Luke
Kidwell, and Rev. Johnny Randolph officiating. Burial will follow at Brown
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday night at the
funeral home. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Lake City in charge of arrangements.
HARRIS, CARRIE KING, MRS.- age 90 of Clinton, passed away Monday, November 1,
1999, at the Lake City Health Care Center. She was a member of Jefferson City
Church of God. She loved to sew and read in her spare time and was a lover of
gospel music. She was born November 11, 1908 in Sevier County. Preceded in
death by parents, Alex & Lucy Bowman Sayne; first husband, Cleo King;
daughter, Norma Jean Ridenour and several brothers & sisters. Survivors:
husband, Bert H. Harris of Clinton; daughter, Betty Risden & husband, Walter
of Clinton; son, Clyde King & wife, Patsy of Daytona Beach, Fla.;
grandchildren, Linda Dittman & husband, Richard of Daytona, Fla., Robert King
& wife, Diane of Front Royal, Virginia, Phyllis Hutson & husband, Junior of
Daytona Beach, Fla., Darrell King & wife, Robin of Daytona Beach, Fla.,
Teresa Copeland & husband, Virgle of Heiskell, Carrie Blalock & husband,
David of Heiskell, Jeffrey Risden & wife, Joan of Clinton, Walter Junior
Risden & wife, Anna of Clinton, Tim Risden & wife, Candy of Clinton; 18 great
grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends. The
family wishes to thank all the nursing staff and all the employees of Lake
City Health Care Center, for all the kindness and love shown to their mother
during her stay there. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with
funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Darrell
Griffis officiating. Interment will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 4,
1999 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Clinton in
charge of all arrangements.
