AYERS, MRS. GRACE P. HATFIELD WILLIAMS - age 73 of LaFollette, passed away
Saturday, September 25, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville. She was
of the Church of God faith, retired from Imperial Reading Corporation.
Preceded in death by husbands, James C. Williams and Charley Alonzo Ayers;
her parents, Asbury and Florence Ada Marcum Hatfield; and her brothers,
Clifford Lee Hatfield and Charles Hatfield. Survivors: daughter and
son-in-law, Gwen and Anwar Accawi, Knoxville; grandchildren, Fuad Accawi,
Juli Weaver and her husband Jason Weaver; great-granddaughter, Elise Marleen
Weaver, all of Knoxville; sister, Mary Canton Siekerski, Baltimore, Maryland;
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services
Monday, 8 p.m. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Anwar Accawi officiating. Family
and friends will meet Tuesday 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery for interment.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday before services at
Walters Funeral Home. Walters Funeral Home, LaFollette, in charge of
arrangements.
WARRINGTON, HAROLD LEON "BLUE" - age 69, of Oak Ridge, died at the Methodist
Medical Center on Saturday, 9-25-1999, born on 5-4-1930 in Savannah, TN to
parents, Steward Earnest Warrington, Sr. and Maude Hargrove Warrington.
Member of Royce Baptist Church. Worked for the Oak Ridge School System for 18
years. Retired from Martin Marietta in 1990 after 22 years; an avid
fisherman, gardener, and a family oriented man. Preceded in death by parents
and by sisters, Frances Warrington and Annie Jo Cole. Survivors include: wife
of 51 years, Helen Marie Warrington, Oak Ridge; mother-in-law, Katherine
Fuller, Rockwood; sons, David Lynn Warrington and wife Dana, Knoxville, Gene
Warrington and wife Debbie, Oak Ridge, Tommy Warrington and wife Donna, Oak
Ridge; grandchildren, Tyler Warrington, ETSU, Johnson City, Jennifer Kassner
and husband Jesse of Oak Ridge, Sherri White and husband J.J. of Claxton,
Gavin Warrington, Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Zachary Kassner, Oak Ridge,
Kaleb White, Claxton; brothers, Steward Earnest Warrington, Jr., Rockwood,
Edward P. Warrington, Rockwood; sister, Ruby Lee Corey, Tavernier, FL;
special friends, Don and Vicki McKamey, Clinton. Funeral service will be held
in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary Tuesday, 9-28-1999, 7:30 p.m., with
Rev. Mac Smith and Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to
Royce Baptist Church Building Fund, 131 LaSalle Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Memorial
Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-7:30 p.m. at Weatherford
Mortuary, Oak Ridge.
