CROSS, MARTHA ELIZABETH - age 87, of Clinton, Tennessee passed away Tuesday
September 21, 1999, at the Windwood Healthcare Center. Preceded in death by
husband, Londo L. Cross; son, Billy Ray Cross; brothers, Kelsey Perkins,
Alonza Perkins, Fred Perkins, and Luther Perkins; sisters, Mary Bell Sharp
and Genieva Lay. She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. She was a
member of Timely Topics and the First Baptist Church XYZ Club and XYZ Choir
for over ten years. She loved her family, people, and working in her flower
garden. Survivors: beloved sisters, Janetta Baird of Newcomb, TN, Elsie
Meredith of Clinton; beloved brother, Homer Perkins of Nashville, TN. The
family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, September 24, 1999
at Clinton First Baptist Church with funeral service following at 7:30 p.m.,
with Rev. Samuel Dean officiating. Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m.,
Saturday, September 25, 1999 at McCarty-Woodhaven Memory Gardens in Claxton.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
