Hi--
I'm new to the list. I am looking for the parents or
any info you have about George W. Marlar who
married (Mary) Jane Hampton in Campbell Co., Tn.
on Sept. 8, 1846. Among their children was Benjamin
Franklin Marlar, born in 1859 in Knox Co. Ky., who is
my husband's grandfather. "Frank" came to Parke Co.
In. later and was m. twice. The latter being my husband's
grandmother. Family tradition says there was Indian blood
in one of the lines. Would really like some help on this as
we have not been able to get past these folks.

Marlar may be spelled, Marler, Marlor, or even Marlow as on
the 1860 census of Ky.
