LAY, MARY JANE - age 71, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of LaFollette, passed away
Wednesday, June 23rd, at the home of daughter in Boise,Idaho. She was
preceded in death by her parents, John and Luria Nunn; husband, William
Foster Lay; sister, Effie Mae Cox; and brother, George Nunn. Mrs. Lay was of
the Church of God faith. Survivors: sons, John Lay, Forks, Wash., David Lay,
Caryville; daughters, Annie Lester, Port Angles, Wash., Mary Rule, Boise,
Idaho, and Patricia Rice of Wyoming; 17 grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Bill) Nunn, Levinsworth, Wash.,
Richard (Red) Nunn, Peshastin, Wash. and Frank Nunn, LaFollette; sisters,
Martha Overton, Williamsburg, Ky. and Jessie Hyslope, LaFollette. Funeral
services 8 p.m. Monday, June 28th, 1999, at Cross Chapel, Rev. Delmus Bruce
and Rev. Pat Ayers officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday
prior to service. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday at Melvin Cemetery, Stinking
Creek. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
