FAULKNER, JOHN HUBERT - age 77, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Wednesday,
May 26, 1999 at The Royal Care Nursing Home in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He
was a life-time member of First Baptist Church in Jellico. He served his
country during World War II with The United States Air Force. He was Owner
and Operator of Central Rexall Drug Store for many years. Survivors include
wife, Vauda Faulkner of Jellico, TN; son, David Faulkner and wife, Patricia,
of Gatlinburg, TN; daughter, Vauda John Parrott and husband, William (Buck)
of Jellico, TN; grandchildren, David Patric Faulkner, Michael Wayne Bowlin,
II, Joshua David Faulkner, Deirdre Renee Faulkner and Autumn Cheyenne
Parrott; brother, Joe Paul Faulkner of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Clara Beair
of Springfield, Ohio; special friends, Mike and Ann Stone of Norris, TN and
Dr. Charles and Nancy Prater of Knoxville, TN; many beloved nieces and
nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held
3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, at The First Baptist Church in Jellico, TN, Dr.
Chuck Summers officiating. Burial will follow in The Jellico Cemetery.
Military Honors will be held at the graveside by The Campbell County Honor
Guard. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at
the church. Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of the arrangements.
PEACOCK, RUBY - age 67, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, May 27, 1999 at
Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her
mother, Reba Morley; grandson, Timothy Peacock; brother, Jack Wilson; sister,
Lois L. Campbell. Survivors include: husband, Charles Peacock; sons, Benny,
Danny, Allen and Roger Peacock; daughter, Charlotte Brewster; 13
grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Wilson; sister, Charlene
Wilson; half-brother, Larry Graham; several nieces and nephews. Family and
friends will assemble 9:45 a.m. Sunday, May 30, 1999 at McCarty Woodhaven
Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service and interment, Rev. Larry
Hammock officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday
at McCarty Woodhaven Chapel, 160 Edgemoore Road, Powell.
