RAINWATER, THELMA H. - 96, passed away Friday, May 21, 1999, at Windwood
Nursing Home in Clinton. She was of Baptist faith and a member of New Salem
Baptist Church, Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and
Laura Hogue; and by her husband, Bruce Rainwater. She is survived by
sisters-in-law, Reba Hogue of Clinton and Jennie Rainwater of Dandridge; and
by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, May
24, 1999, from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson County Funeral Home with the funeral
service to follow at 8 p.m., Rev. Joe Bridges officiating. There will be a
graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 1999, at Hills Union Cemetery in
Dandridge. Honorary pallbearers are Marshall Emert, Don Hogue, Alfred Mardis,
Ronnie Mardis, Roscoe Mardis, Larry Mardis and Kenny Mardis. Arrangements by
Anderson County Funeral Home, Clinton.
