GRAVES, SUZIE IRWIN - age 48, of Norris, passed away Sunday, May 16, 1999 at
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a member of Hillvale Baptist
Church. She was born December 12, 1950 in Knox County. She was a School Bus
Driver with Longmire Bus Lines in Andersonville. Survivors: daughter and
son-in-law, Kristi and Brian Young of Heiskell; parents, Jack and Louise
Irwin of Clinton; sisters, Jill and husband, Robert Longmire, of
Andersonville, Tina and husband, Eugene Simpson, of Clinton; brothers, Chris
and wife, Darlene Irwin, of Clinton, Jeff Irwin of Clinton; fiancee, John
Wells of Andersonville; several nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives
and friends. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. May 19, 1999 in the
chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Foust officiating.
Interment Thursday, May 20 at Norris Memorial Gardens. Family will receive
friends Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
SHARPE, ROSIE MAY HATMAKER - age 92, of Knoxville, originally from Campbell
Co., passed away Monday, May 17, 1999, after a short illness. Preceded in
death by husband, Avery E. Sharpe; parents, William A. and Suffie Hatmaker;
three sisters and two brothers. Of the Baptist faith, a longtime employee of
the Hatmaker Grocery Store. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Harold M.
(Speedy) and Peggy Sharpe, Sr.; grandchildren, William A. Sharpe of Idaho,
Cheryl Girard of Knoxville, Harold M. Sharpe, Jr. of Oak Ridge;
great-grandchildren, Daniel Sharpe, Marie, Michael Sharpe of Lenoir City;
beloved nieces, Sue Willis and Patsy Vittetoe; nephew, Donald Hatmaker; and
several great-nieces and npehews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday Rose
Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Family and
friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Grantsboro Cemetery in Campbell Co.
for interment at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at
Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
