PARTICIA ANN CODY, 50, of LaFollette, died Saturday, May 1 at her home. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cody; father, Robert Lee Cody.
Survivors include mother, Etta Cody of Kentucky. Funeral services were held
Tuesday, May 4 at Roach Mortuary with Rev. Wade Wall officiating. Interment
followed Wednesday in Peabody Cemetery.

EARL FREDERICKS, 78, of Saxton, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 29 at Jellico
Community Hospital. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was preceded in
death by parents, Charley and Beatrice Siler Fredericks and wife, Mary Baker
Fredericks. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 2 at Cox & Son Funeral
Home with Rev. Mike Gray and Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Interment
followed in Lot Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 3167, Williamsburg,
Kentucky.

EARL WILLIAM LESTER, 78, died Monday, May 3 at his home. He was employed as
chief electrician at Morley Coal Company and later Benetts of Harlan,
Kentucky. He was owner and operator of Earl's Electrics of Middlesboro,
Kentucky and a member of Masonic Lodge 623 F&AM of LaFollette. He was
preceded in death by parents, W.H. and Norah Hicks Lester; step-mother, Nell
Lester;. Survivors include wife, Aileen Gibson Lester of Middlesboro,
Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at Cross
Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. The family will receive
friends 12 noon until 2 p.m. prior to funeral services. Interment will follow
in Hurst Cemetery, Middlesboro, Kentucky.

ZORA LOETHA LEWALLEN, 69, died at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She is survived by daughters, Glenna Turner and Shirley Archie of Jackson,
Joellen Hilton of Tennessee, and Birdie Regina Lewallen of Florida; sons,
Henry Wilson of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Frank Bruce Wilson of Friendsville,
Eugene Wilson of Michigan, and Mitchell Lewallen of Hazard, Kentucky; and
brother, Glenn Eubanks of Chicago and Garland Eubanks of LaFollette. Funeral
services were held at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Interment followed in
Hollywood Cemetery.

GEORGIA ANNA HILL LUMPKINS, 75, of Davis Road, LaFollette, died Saturday, May
1 at Sunrise Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy
Lumpkins; parents, Robert "Bob" and Ada Mae Goins Hill.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4 at Martin Funeral Home with Bro.
Carl Bradshaw officiating. Interment followed in Well Springs Cemetery.

EMMA MOSES, 94, of Caryville, formerly of Pleasant View, Kentucky, died
Saturday, May 1 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was a member of Venus
Chapter 179 OES. She was preceded in death by husband, William Norman Moses.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 4 at Cox & Son Funeral Home with Rev.
Charles Parker officiating. Interment followed in Wolf Creek Cemetery.

RALPH PARKS, 70, of Clinton, died Friday, April 29 at Methodist Medical
Center. He was a manager of White Stores for approximately 44 years. He was
preceded in death by parents, Charlie M. and Pearle H. Parks. Survivors
include wife, Martha "Bobbie" Henegar Parks. Funeral services were held
Sunday, May 2 at Gloryway Baptist Church with Rev. Jess Ward and Rev. Virgil
Cole officiating. Interment followed Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery in
LaFollette. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

ADA BELL RICHARDSON, 60, of Jacksboro, died Tuesday, April 27 at LaFollette
Medical Center. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert "Bob" and Bessie
Mae McGhee Marlow. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 29 at Martin
Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Floyd officiating. Interment followed in Victory
Cemetery.

GEORGE WASHINGTON SMITH, 91, of Caryville, died Tuesday, April 27 at
LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of the UMWA.
He was preceded in death by wife, Leoda McKinney Smith. Funeral services were
held Saturday, May 1 at Cross Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Adkins and Rev.
Don Allen officiating. Interment followed in Campbell Memorial Gardens.

MARION TEAGUE, 78, of Jacksboro, formerly of Eagan, died Tuesday, April 27 at
LaFollette Medical Center. He was a retired coal miner. He was preceded in
death by parents, Craig and Martha Davis Teague. Survivors include wife,
Nancy Sue Teague. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 29 at Cox & Son
Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Hoskins officiating. Interment followed Friday
in Jellico Cemetery.

HUMPHRED B. TODD, 66, of Jacksboro, died Wednesday, April 28 at LaFollette
Medical Center. He was retired from Powell High School Maintenance Department
and worked for Saunders Ferry Boatdock for many years.
He was preceded in death by wife, Marjorie Brown Todd. Grave side services
were held Friday, April 30 at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy
Orick officiating. Cross Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

ALICE FAY TURNER, 43, of LaFollette, died Tuesday, April 27 at Baptist
Hospital in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by father, Lige Gregg.
Survivors include mother, Minnie Gregg of LaFollette. Funeral services were
held Thursday, April 29 at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Tapp
officiating. Interment followed in Woodlawn Cemetery.
